Also, can't I just buy the bundle as a gift, unpack it into the separate games in my steam inventory, and then just take Stacking?
i could be wrong but i don't think bundles can be split like that

I've had some overlap in Humble Bundles in the past and never got giftable copies.

Sanctum won out?! WTF is wrong with people?

Any comments on shoot many robots? I am thinking it might be interesting to play with the wife. Are there permanent characters, character development à la RPG, etc etc?

shoot many robots is a fun, light game. As you make progress you use money earned by shooting robots to upgrade your equip. That is really all there is to the RPG side

If I am going for a single Assassin's Creed title, which one should I get?

I have played AC1 so it's out. Revelations is too new so the price is still too high. So far from random polls I looked at online, it's AC2, followed by Brotherhood. So AC2 or Brotherhood?

Considering Brotherhood follows AC2, I'd go with 2. It's also a better game, in my opinion, but I think AC1 is the best so far, having all of them, which isn't a popular opinion. IIRC, AC2 is longer than Brotherhood, as well.

Is GTA4 the one with the persistent multiplayer servers where interesting shenanigans go on, and are the controls non-retarded for the PC?

I own GTA IV and loved it but have never played online.  Should I start downloading?

Are there enough numbers or do you need to join with friends?

To those that recommended Mirrors Edge, I'm really loving it here. Thanks for the tip!

I'm really hoping they pop Magical Diary into the sales.  Might still get it even at only 33% off but will wait till late in the sale.

If not under Neotemplar look for Vellum.

Ditto. I have Krater already but I want it to have more exposure.

I have GTA4 and I am interested in trying the online mode. Just haven't played the game enough since I am swarmed by so many games...

Why does everybody hate Sanctum?

Because it's bad!
(I just couldn't get into it and they started the nickel and diming DLC thing to boot).

EDIT: Actually now that I think of it... you were supposed to use towers and your guns, so they both felt mostly ineffective individually most of the time. At least they did to me.

And then, they will be weaponized. Like everything in this game, from kittens to babies, everything is a potential device of murder.
So if baseless speculation is all we have, we might as well treat it like fact.
