There seems to be hints on the forums that Witcher 2 and other games may have had hidden summer sale achievements added to them.

No, you misread. I have done all but one of those (I only have no avatar). However, today, I have only done one (joined a group). From what others have said, to the badge counter I should have no avatar, friends, games, or extra security, because I haven't done those since the badges were implemented. I don't think this made my wording any less confusing, though.

Is it just me or do these developer packs suck? Feels like they threw a good game or two into each, then padded it out with garbage to justify $50 on sheer volume.

On the other hand, everything is on sale anyway, so I guess I can just snatch up anything I like on its own.
