I very nearly bought Civ5. It's a good turn-based strategy game in its own right, but if you're familiar with the series, don't expect the depth and complexity presented by the older games.
Thinking of getting the Lugaru HD pack, which I didn't even know was on Steam until this sale popped up. I played the demo and found it really fun, plus it helps support the developers of Overgrowth (another title I'm keeping an eye on).
Lugaru, as in the ninja bunny game?
I heard of some people who enjoyed it, but what I got was a clunky game where you get to jump around like mad, mostly because the most powerful move involves drop kicking people, and the higher difficulty AI is nearly impossible to beat in standard hand-to-hand encounters, unless you have a weapon, and they'll usually manage to pull it out of your hands, no matter what you do. The combat is fun and novel at first, but quickly becomes tedious and frustrating. After figuring out how to fight and beating some dudes up, you then get to scratch your head as the game ends suddenly and the big reveal is that the plot is completely moronic. What's frustrating is that the end would have actually been cool if any modicum of effort had been put into the rest of the plot.
Think of a mindless action movie meeting low-gravity furry ninja fights, except not nearly as cool as it sounds.
A friend threw this at me and I have no idea whether or not this game is good. Its temporarily free though.

I made an account, got the game, but now I can't use their game client to download it. Apparently the account I just made isn't good enough for them.
