Maybe if you're ignoring intelligence that the Germans are going to do the exact same thing as WW1 or mashing the surrender button.  :P
... Which I sadly do a lot of in that game.

Commandos is 80% off. The bundle with the whole series is at 3 USD.

I bought the pack a few months backs. There's some issues with the older games. I think there's a workaround somewhere in the steam forums, but it may be a bit complex...

A bunch of Tom Clancy and Ubisoft games are on sale.

The two Advanced Warfighter games look interesting, and are only $2.49 each. Does anyone know if they've aged well?

For the 4 denouncing skirmish play, I play against friends so they are a lot smarter than the AI.
Yesterday I was playing as American Airborne and my Friend were playing as British Royal Engineers on the Archelous river or whatever map. We rushed to the other side of the bridge and placed an MG turret causing the enemy to be kept at bay, for the entire time we owned the hill, only 2 squads even touched our soil. (We were against another friend of mine and his friend, not AI this match.) It was a pretty awesome stand, especially when they ran like D-Day on us at the end in an attempt to take the hill.

I believe we're talking about full scale colonisation here.  You don't just leave all your shit in the van when you move house.

Wonder how many of these games have 3 more layers of DRM in addition to Steam, rootkits and if some gnome will just pop out of the USB port and smash your screen with a hammer just in case you were considering pirating something.

That and 2 non-refundable activations that are invalidated if you turn the volume up or down too much.

I understand they removed the ridiculous DRM schemes from some of the older games. Is this correct?

I never realized there was DRM on Steam games. I have a good couple and I never seem to run into any intrusive DRM.

Then again, I don't buy newer or mainstream games very often.

Pretty much. Assassin Creed is even on GOG now. There might be a few older titles with the DRM crap in it still floating around, I'm not sure.
For me it just goes to show how pointless it is to add in the first place if you're only going to remove it later. Basically pissing off your consumer base at launch and we all know how much DRM stops piracy.

Quite a few of them have MULTIPLE LEVELS of DRM. I think Bioshock 2 was the worst I saw. Steam, Securom and Games For Windows Live (maybe it had Tages? Can't remember), it was like a DRM cake.
