Yes, they really are. Twilight especially. It adds more galaxy sizes and unique tech trees for each race. I think it also adds racial super abilities, but those might have been in the game before. I spent $80 on the game and expansions a few years ago, and I do not feel as though I misspent my money.

I'd go for killing floor. I bought it during the Halloween sale and just got back into it again in the last few days as a break between exams. It's a fun game, but you could lose track of time in it.

Well hell yes I would. I've been switching everything over to PC games and portal is that game that I want to make everyone I know play it  :D

Looks like the winter sale is starting. Valve complete pack is 81% off. Id complete pack is 83% off.

edit: looks like pretty much all the developers bundles are 80%-85% off
