ZD was ok. For what you pay it's alright. I found myself wanting a broader game than what it delivers by the time I was done though....and it's never really evolved. They put out a little extra content for it but that's it.

MOVING ON BEFORE THINGS GET HAIRY
I'm willing to recommend Terraria so we can get more people come join Kael's server for funtimes.
Two things:
1. It's my MSDN account I'm talking about, and I don't do anything illegal with it.

2. Leave my hair out of this.

2. I wasn't specifically referring to YOUR hair. :P

A friend of mine who works in the game industry was surprised to hear I never pirate anymore, and actually buy games.
For these prices and without having to leave the house I'd be robbing me of my own time if I'd pirate this. Damn.

Getting Stalker, and Amnesia, and L4D2. That still costs me a lot less than one evening of alcohol *damn hangover*.

Almost tempted by SPAZ but 11 dollars is still a bit too much for me to commit to it.

Borderlands also kinda tempted me but eh, no.

Is STALKER a good game? I'm thinking of buying it. And with good game, I mean a good story, is it more like Half Life or more like CoD?

Definitely far from CoD. Never played Half Life, but I spent some 30-odd hours on the third game before it fried my graphics card.

I dunno. I think Borderlands is worth the cheap price it's going for these days. It's repetitive but competent good old-fashioned shooter fun. ...except for some of the bosses. >.>

Yeah, Borderlands is mad fun. So, Terraria is worth it? I was ethically opposed to it due to the owner's... questionable history, and his stealing of final fantasy sprites, but is that all gone now?

Just played STALKER. It's rougher than I'm used to, less gamey and quite realistic.
I think I like it.

Dutchling: It's Halflife in a Fallout3 setting. Or something.

I like to think of STALKER as a shooty life in radioactive, fantasy Russia simulator. It is immersive. You will die often. You may even feel fear of running into temporal anomalies that cause you to explode and triumph when you manage to track down scary monsters and kill them to loot shiny artifacts worth thousands more than the decaying ak-47 in your arms that can barely hit a wall in front of you.

And one of the best FPS i've played in recent years in an overcrowded market.

Well, it's around sixty-five dollars (unless you buy a disc) for college students...or you could, you know, Yar-har-har-fiddle-dee-dee it.
If the college has a deal with MSDN, Windows 7 download is free. $24 for a disk.

If Windows 7 existed about 10 years ago, then this would have been useful. Not so much now.
