blargh, doesn't matter as my purchase isn't going through. I can't even enter billing info without it throwing an error >_>. I think it's the high traffic?

In the valley between deals rolling over, on a Sunday?  I find that hard to believe.

Maybe try adding funds to your wallet, then buying it.  (I still think you should wait for the sweet sweet deal, though)

Think they may be having problems. My community choice vote can't go through either.

Oh lord, the team based shenanigans that are occurring.

That's another addition to the list of design choices I dislike.  Whether it's rigged by Valve, or rigged by aggressive players... still rigged.

All in all, it's even worse than the floor on account level to get trading cards... You've got to drink the Kool-Aid pretty hard (and play the ugliest version of the game) to win your shot-in-the-dark at a visit from the wishlist fairy.

Guilt over selling every single card I get on the market instead of buying into chicanery for a hope and a prayer: zero.

And then, they will be weaponized. Like everything in this game, from kittens to babies, everything is a potential device of murder.
So if baseless speculation is all we have, we might as well treat it like fact.

I don't really care about all these Steam badge/card features and use a very simple system: I pick one game, in my case, Skullgirls, to craft badges in. I sell everything else in the market just matching the latest price. I only use money gained this way to buy cards of my selected game. If I happen to make a purchase while there are still money left in the market section, so be it. I'll use them up. More cards will come as I play.

My Skullgirl badge hit max level a while ago... maybe I'll pick another game.

Sleeping Dogs is an excellent game in my opinion, the combat system is very fun, as is all of the game. It might be a bit short but I definitely liked it a lot. It doesn't really have any annoying missions either.

God DAMN I love this game!

Because it's part of the True Crime series (kind of sort of), which means it should be heavily story driven and have a binary choice system that isn't moral choice and actually feels sensible rather than arbitrary.

Because of the inherent charm of Hong Kong action films oozing from its every pore?

As negative as you made it sound, "short" is a positive attribute for many gamers. As just came up in one of the other threads here incidentally.

I liked True Crime back in the day and Sleeping Dogs has been getting some good reviews among my chosen online reviewers, so I guess it's a sale.
