Neverwinter Nights Platinum for $7 blows my mind. I already have everything but Storm of Zehir on CD, and it's still a pretty good deal despite that. Only buying that and the X Superbox (because obviously they can't call it an Xbox) today because I have almost everything else already.

Why did I have to get Terraria day 1? Should have waited... A lot of the other deals seem tempting too, I'll probably end up getting some more.

I'd buy the steam thing and pirate the other one. But that's just my opinion :X
Steam just makes it easier with installing and uninstalling games, and you won't lose them...

Well, I know the advantages/disadvantages to Steam...
I guess what I'm asking is if I'd be really missing out by not playing Contracts. How does it compare to the rest of the series?

Well, I thought I'd get out of this without spending any more money, but then they went and put Portal 2 and Terraria on sale. Darn it.

Luckily, I already have them, so I won't have to spend more money buying them now. *insane troll logic*

(Actually, I got Portal 2 for about the same price at an actual store a couple months ago. Terraria I paid full price for, but it was worth it.)

I've dabbled in the older games a bit here and there, and didn't fully like them, I played blood money though and my god it's amazing. I think I played silent assasin and some of the one after that on the console, just wasn't that fun. The improvements made to the game in blood money though just made everything awesome. Like being able to actually run with a disguise on, and etc.

You didn't want to give the Terraria devs more money?

Wow, steam is too busy to let me download a 16MB game. It would take me all of three seconds to download it.

If only Portal 2 was 75 % off instead of 50 %.  With 4.2 to 1 exchange rates between USDollar and ARGpeso the difference is just too much for a computer game.

Specially if it's as short as portal 1, which I finished in less than 2 hours (The main game, not all the adv puzzles which I still have to try out)

I don't know. Do you like X3 type games? If so, then yes.

I enjoyed them. The puzzles were challenging, but nothing that can't be solved with enough trial-and-error and/or sideways thinking. And the humour is great, if a little crazy.  ;)

Got  The Last Remnant for 7.5€ today, it's my recommendation to this thread.
If you like JRPGs anyway.

Unlike most games, metacritic lists a lot of terrible reviews but the gamers love it mostly. Usually its the other way round  :D

Portal was an add-on to an already packed game set: The Orange Box. Portal 2 is a full-fledged game, with another story-line in Co-op that takes almost as long.
In short, it is much longer.
