It's not too cheap - still EUR13.99 (something like $15?). It's half price, but still too expensive for me. If it goes down a lot more, I'll get it, but otherwise I'll probably just keep it on the wishlist for a rainy day.

What I'd really like to get my hands on are the DVDs, but they seem to be discontinued. : (

The only thing on that list that I own is Dear Esther.

As long as you realize it's just an audiobook it's a good buy I guess. At least, the part I "played" until I got bored was like that :P

Edit: Just a thought, I was amazed while looking through the list to see how many of the games I own already from Humble Bundle - and to realize how few of them I've actually played. There is such a thing as owning too many games. I think I have an addiction to the simple process of collecting the games, more than actually playing all of them. Also, it's amazing to see how much these games normally cost! I rarely pay more than $6 for a humble bundle, and each of those includes 3-6 games (or more) that normally go for $8+ each.
I noticed that about myself too. It's strange.

In a way, I fulfilled my inner child's dream of having tons and tons of games (from classic consoles to modern PC games), and now I have such an insane backlog, I don't know where to start to chip away at the monumental hoard.

On the plus side, I always have somewhere to turn for entertainment, depending on mood.

EDIT:
Oh my goodness, checking on my current account's number of games, I have quite the mountain to climb (400+ games), and yet I still crave more.

I remember being a kid and getting a new game was a really big deal. It was something valuable, something special. I would devote all my spare time to it until I had exhausted its content.

Now games are easy to get for free or cheap, and they just pile up. They don't mean anything anymore. And why buy an expensive one when I can easily get a cheap one? Why bother milking one game for content when there's 100 similar games out there, and I have a pile of others on my computer? It gets to the point where I get bored with everything super quickly. If it doesn't keep my attention, I just drop it and move on to another one. I think it's making me less patient.

Still, I really want some of these games...

Starting to reconsider Triple Town though. There's a lot of feedback on there saying they don't support the game anymore, it has far less content than the mobile version... I don't have an Android device so I can't play the mobile version (tried emulators and it didn't work). Not sure now if I'll get it or not...

Someone asked about CS:GO a few pages back. It's on super-sale today for $3.75 US.

off topic: if you have cs:go you should try to get dreamhack souvenir package (open csgo stream on twitch and have your twitch account linked to steam to be eligible for drops), it goes for 20$ on steam market right now

on topic: Surgeon simulator is on sale right now, looks fun enough but i wonder if its worth it, did anyone try it yet ?

Oh man, I bought Dishonored: GOTY with 90% discount for R$6,39(something like $3). It was a bug that lasted some minutes, but I was quick enough to buy it before they fixed it. I'm so happy, it was just like a birthday present from myself to me :D

Good luck with that, because you'd be lucky to find a trading card even worth ten cents right about now. No one really gives a shit about them and there really isn't any reason to shell out cash for them.

This isn't really true. Many games do have cards that are only worth about 10 cents, but there are still plenty that are worth double that! 20 whole cents! Foils and booster packs can still fetch many many pennies, usually at least a whole dollars worth of pennies!

Cards are not worth a lot but they do add up over time. I've had humble bundles that have payed for themselves in steam cards. The best scenario is when you have a bunch of small games that don't take up a lot of resources so that you can have several of them running at once to mine for steam cards. :P

How do those cards work, anyway? You just run the game and you get cards at certain intervals, even if you're not actively doing anything? I only have a few because I don't play most games on Steam, but if they're actually valuable, I could put a lot of my humble bundle games on there and mine, like you say, for a little extra cash.

I thought Steam prevented you from running more than one game at a time. How do you go about "mining" for cards?

I'm not sure how the cards work, exactly. They just seem to appear in the inventory after playing a game for a bit. And you only get so many.

Weird fact: I have the game Knytt Underground, which has trading cards. And at that time, some of the cards were selling for over two dollars. I sold one myself for about 2.17, I think. Then I felt bad about it. It seemed like it was taking advantage of someone.

You don't need to be doing anything, I usually just leave stuff running while I'm doing things away from my computer.

I have had no trouble running multiple games at once and getting cards for all of them. Some games you don't even need to run, starting up the launcher is good enough in most cases. I didn't mean anything special when I said mining, I just leave several games running and acrue cards.

Now back to the topic of sales. Amazon.com  has a steam activated Payday 2 on for 9.99. That's the lowest I've ever seen it anywhere.

Just to be clear, the trading cards don't actually do anything, right? Just... collectible graphics?

Yup. Roughly analogous to the average baseball card.
