Having a static storyline is a big no-go for me :( Princess Maker 2 allowed you to do whatever you wanted, which was great! Although, I guess, less deaths ;D

Don't know about it having a Static Storyline... UNLESS you have found proof that is...

It has a BRANCHING STATIC STORY. Also some of the skill checks does nothing but give some potentially useful in a meta sense background info.

I don't mean to be rude here but can you guys start a thread for the game if you're going to discuss it? This is for pointing out sales, not discussing the minutia of games.

Discussions on a single game can be allowed upto 2 pages, this is a recently released game on steam so fine for me so far.

All Trackmania games are half off. At $5, I can highly recommend anyone who likes arcade racing games at all get Trackmania Nations Forever, which is a bundle of what was originally several games. If you've been eyeing Canyon or Valley, you might want to grab them now at $10 too. If you don't have Nations Forever, you'll get way more for your money out of that though.

Apparently the Humble Store opened.
They're selling the following at some pretty good discounts:
- Euro Truck Simulator 2
- Don't Starve
- Gunpoint
- Natural Selection II
- Chivalry
- Orcs Must Die 2
- The Swapper
- Rogue Legacy
- Prison Architect

I'm tempted by Euro Truck Simulator 2... It's gotten ravingly good reviews, which is totally weird, but could be interesting for just relaxing after a stressful day. Any tips, B12?

edit: played it a little, truck crashed then the game crashed. Will try again when drunk.

I remember these, I tried the free one years ago, and it installed StarForce on my PC. I was not amused.

Wow. Fortunately I never had that problem. For what it's worth:
Quote from: Wikipedia
Although Valve Software originally included it in the system, on 29 June 2007, the company announced that the version of TrackMania United distributed via their Steam digital distribution platform would no longer include StarForce.[13]

TrackMania United Forever and TrackMania Nations Forever do not include StarForce. If they are applied as upgrades to version of TrackMania United or TrackMania Nations which include StarForce, they attempt to remove it.
So as asinine as it is that the free Nations used to put shit DRM on your computer, it no longer does.

My friends really like it.  I saw my brother play it yesterday and it seemed pretty cool, if chill.  The upgrade and leveling seemed good for a relaxed game like it seems to be.  I was really on the fence about paying 20-25$ for it, but 6.25?  I'm jumping on that right now.

Gunpoint's definitely worth $5. Orcs Must Die 2 is a great deal if you like action tower defense, especially if it comes with all the DLC. Prison Architect is a must have at $15 if you're into management sims - I bought it at full price, back before it was on Steam, and haven't regretted it (Though I was sure I was going to). Chivalry's a good time, but expect to die a lot before you start catching onto the combat system while fighting folks that have been playing since release.

Haven't played anything else there.

I heard about some of its minor weak points:
- While damage is in the game, it's not reflected in the texture/model. Crash as hard as you can, your truck will still be shiny like it's just out of the production line.
- Loading up on cargo has no effect on handling... the different types of cargo are just for appearance.

But yeah, it's one of a kind and is very cheap now...

I know that we've talked about Natural Selection 2, but what do we think?
