Psychonauts only for $2.

Dammit, if only I took some screenshots of it to show off.

Is it just me, or does the music of the dubstep gun change as you upgrade it? I'm not entirely certain as I was playing around with it during the recent buggy updates, so I wasn't sure if that was normal behaviour.
Each of the gun's skins play different music.
Indeed. Took me an embarrassingly long time to work this out.

I'll vouch for Psychonauts. Definitely worth it at $2. Probably worth it at $10, given that its old. Very interesting story, very humorous, good mechanics (except for the very last area), just plain enjoyable. Really, that's what it comes down to. It's a solid game that's very enjoyable.

Huh, I randomly got a 65% off coupon for cities in motion 2. I played the first one and found it always went loans > big transport > smaller transport > smaller transport > infinite money.

I want to know if the second one is any good, or more of the same.

Same coupon. It's 75% off at gamersgate.

I enjoyed it more than the first one. There's less of a historical progression, but towns still grow and you can even build roads to expand the town yourself. The scale has been pumped up massively, but it's lost some of its charm in the transition.

The general strategy is still there, just on a larger scale and with a lot more flexibility on what you can do/create. Loans are more balanced now, since you can't just pay them back once you're done and they accrue more interest. You actually have to pay it back over time, which is annoying but makes sense in a way. There's also cooperative multiplayer, which is kind of neat.

Sweet. Never did get to play that game thanks to not having the correct console.

I will warn that I've heard... varying degrees about the game.
Take that as you will, maybe watch some footage.

A-train 8 is on Steam for 30% off. A-train 9 exists and has been out for almost 2 years in English and German. A-train 8 is about 5 years old. I don't get it.

Space Pirates and Zombies is great, and Sid Meier's Pirates is pretty good as well.

I'm actually replaying the whole of SPAZ these days while I can't get internet at home. I'm enjoying it about as much as the same time. All you need to make sure is that you're on systems that are a little above your level and you'll generally never really lack resources, and you'll level pretty quickly. I think most people "play it wrong" in the sense that they grind lower-level systems, which can become unbearably slow. One mission in a higher-level system can get you TONS of rez and level you up in one go!

I recall enjoying both the old and new versions of Sid Meier's Pirates!
