I sure hope that the vote ends up being for that $85 dlc at half off! I'm excited that such a deal will be made even better, only $40 for a couple of things, I can't contain myself!

Mech#4, thanks, that is really informative. I'll pass then.

Have fortunately only spent $13ish this summer sale, and that includes a game to be gifted to a friend. Wallet is happy.

Just bought a few copies of Bastion myself. Kept hearing great things and at £1.71 I can't refuse. Figured my sister and a friend who had it on their wish-list might appreciate it too.

I've been mostly happy with the sale so far. It's the first I've paid any attention to. Managed to nab a few games I've had my eye on.

Bought Gnomoria, but it won't start up :(

Which is odd since it did work when I tried the... ehm... "demo" version, and I liked it a lot.

Yeah, I will eventually, but it's still in beta, they update often, and I still have a shitload of other games to play for now :)

Gnomoria is weird to me.

For all that people complain it is a copy of DF with a better interface, the irony is that Gnomoria's interface is worse because it breaks. It doesn't flow well. For example, you can't scroll the map while the mouse cursor is over a window or the toolbar at the bottom. Nor can you navigate the toolbar with keys while a window is open. You can scroll while the mouse window is open but these keys also navigate the mouse menu. Additionally, the fact that commands are limited to a single keybind is atrociously bad design (something ridiculously common in many games these days).

DF's interface might be obtuse, particularly in terms of providing information to a player, but it's functional. In fact, not merely functional but efficient. The pull down menu is a decent idea but it hasn't been fleshed out completely yet.

I hope the Gnomoria dev has plans to improve the interface. I don't mind playing a DF clone; I only make the comparison because the Gnomoria interface is cumbersome and frustrating but the DF interface offers what I think to be easy (and I should think obvious) solutions.

I know this is basic, but check the files and if that doesn't work then delete and re-download(it's less than 800mb, right?). I had to do this twice.

I did it once, that must be the problem ;)

And my wallet/bank balance breathes another sigh of relief at yet another day of awful Steam sale selections!

I actually have money to spend for once. It's rather annoying.

Pretty damn awful indeed. So far the community choice and flash sales have impressed me more on average.
Picked up Sang-Froid on the flash sale since I've been wanting to play it for ages. Was meant to get a trading card for the purchase and I didn't get one. I really don't care all that much plus it's likely the servers are busy or something.

I'm more annoyed that piece of shit renamed WarZ is not only back on Steam but is on the main sale page.

Second time now. It was a Flash sale vote candidate.
