ArmA II: Operation Arrowhead is on sale at $30, 25% off...anyone think it'll end up as a daily deal?  I've been lurking and waiting for a sale on it since I picked up ArmA II the last time around.

Maybe, I'd wait in case. You can always buy the last day.

I got Just Cause 2 free with my GTX 460, and since I'm using XP, it was more or less "Here's a free game! Haha! Psych! You can't actually play it unless you also buy Windows 7."

Why the hell are people still using XP?
Because they have it from Vista's Era, and haven't upgraded yet. Give it a year.

There's also the fact that $100+ (Home Premium is $120, ultimate is $220) retail for a piece of software is a colossal ripoff that people would prefer to invest elsewhere.

How long will this summer thing go on?  I'm just recently discovering the benefits of steam...

Is there a chance for a lower price of Grand Theft Auto IV (right now, 13.99 us$)?

Unless you're willing to wait until GTA V comes out, probably not.

Is the mass effect pack worth $35 (i think)? I've never played them and most of the people I know haven't but I'm watching this (http://www.youtube.com/user/kootra?blend=1&ob=5#p/c/C1A9AF6954C5074F/0/kD0HD6l8L58) playthrough right now and it looks fairly good.

I bought it as a gift for 7.50, including all the episodes few months ago. So there's a fair chance the GTA IV Complete Pack will be on sale again.

I just got the full beat hazard pack. Except the difference of a few dimes (maybe?) the mp4/iTunes pack, which I don't particularly need/want, was entirely free.

edit: I consider any game with over 35 achievements that runs on my netbook, is fun and less than $10 entirely worth it. Plus I played it at a friends house and man it was fun. a great new way to listen to music.
