In case you're not aware... DayZ is going to be stand-alone late this year, costing $15. So no point of buying ARMA2 for DayZ.

Well shit. Is there an exact date set?

Jade Empire: Special Edition is 75% off. It's basically a kung-fu game made by Bioware, so take that as you will. I kinda like it.

I got the XBox version a few years back. It's entertaining, certainly. I found it got a wee bit predictable and a bit stretched out towards the end though. Like a lot of games that have alignments, it still boils down to feeling like you're stuck between becoming a crazy cat lady and burning down the shelter, with nothing somewhat more moderate though.

I posted this in this thread and ARMA2 thread but seems that a lot of people have missed it. Could have saved you guys some mollah there. :P

For anyone looking at 40% discount on Steam and wanting to play DayZ...

DO NOT buy ARMA2 for DayZ. Why?

'Day Z' going standalone in September, adopting 'Minecraft' model.

Before DayZ got overhyped, it was on 50% and 75% before.

Worms: Reloaded
One of my major regrets is having missed/forgotten about this. :(
I've gotten very little fun out of my copy. Is there some way I can gift it to you?
Don't believe so. Try playing it with friends, though- Worms is one of those series where single player is more of a testing/timewasting/messing around mode.

Bah, I missed the last community choice vote so I couldn't get the 'vote every day' part of the badge.

Spoils of this war
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Total costs of the war ~75€

I already had fallout 3 and gratuitous space battles, but I bought the packs for the DLCs. The most expensive thing was might and magic VI

Probably my fault for caring about their stupid badge in the first place. :I

I didn't really care about the badges, but voted on all the community sale votes that I saw and ended up getting the badge for it.

You're just jealous because you didn't get the full Summer Sale badge.
I did.

Only thing I bought was Recettear. I would've liked a few other things, but I had no money. For example, Dear Esther at $2.50. I've realized that I can always get them later, though, whether they're on sale or not.

Just wanted to point out that the new Indie Royale Pack essentially gives all Geneforge games for cheap on steam.

(Also has Unepic which contrary to my expectations is really fun.)

I love Geneforge. Too bad my bank hates non-US citizens and I've spent more than I should on the Steam sale or I'd be all over that.

Au contraire, although the game is definitely the most fun in multiplayer and that's the main draw, some of the worms games (not sure about Reloaded) have unlockable weapons in the single player.
