Yeah not sure about steam...but the disk of GOTY Oblivion does NOT have the DLCs...whatever crap that is.

open up the data files option from the launcher. if there is more starting with DLC than DLCshiveringisles you have the deluxe version.

For steam DLC you need to purchase the Oblivion GOTY Deluxe edition to get ALL of them.

Bastion is just one of the most FUN games I've played recently. It's really just a joy to play.

I made it through two levels and had to stop. Most boring game ever... The only redeeming feature of Bastion was the narrator and even he was terrible sometimes.

For what it's worth, I loved Bastion. The combat mechanics felt very smooth, and most of the gameplay was quite enjoyable. The music was probably the most unforgettable part of the game, though--it heightened the atmosphere during several pivotal plot moments. Highly recommend the game if you've got the time.

Oh, I simply knew it was going to happen. I buy the darkest hour on steam for the full price, and it goes on sale somewhere. Sidenote, it's not strictly a Steam sale, but it's a sale nonetheless.

Gamersgate is offering 70% off Darkest Hour and Arsenal of Democracy, along with varying promotion on the other Hearts of Iron games (except iron cross and the mac versions of the games it seems)

Bastion was good, had nice music, and the narrator didn't sound out of place like some do in games where you're looknig at the person talking.

Sega Genesis Classics Pack V is tempting me. I know, they're just officially sanctioned emulations. But Beyond Oasis and Phantasy Star 2-4 are games worth paying for.

Ah screw it, buying Bastion instead. All the Sega packs seem to get big discounts during the major sale periods, so maybe I'll wait for the summer sale.

When you rage out on the 50th time the narrator has to explicitly tell you exactly what you're doing, while you're doing it, don't say you weren't warned.
