Well...hell, that's good enough for me. Assuming of course, that the video is tongue-in-cheek rather than the actual quality of the game.

It's the superhero intro videos and voice acting and art style, not so much tongue-in-cheek than emulating the Silver Age (or was it Golden?) of comics almost perfectly (MEANWHILE, IN THE RUSSIAN SUBMARINE!!!). The art is very reminiscent of Jack Kirby and Stan Lee's old stuff.

If you've never played Freedom Force, get it. The multiplayer can be hilarious as well (also: hilariously broken, it's easy to abuse the system of powers to make something overpowered, but there's so many options that goofing around with it is way more fun. Also, custom copyrighted skins for the win. My Carnage/Venom tag team was kickass, for instance).

Hmm...Sid Meier's Railroads! is $5 right now. I remember having a lot of fun with the original as a kid. Anyone know if this version is decent? Looks like it got a lot of flak back when it was released for crashes, but it's been long enough now that I'm hopeful that those have been fixed.

Worth it?

Not worth it for $1.  It's terrible, the SimCity Societies of the series.  Probably the reason the series died.  Just play 3 instead.
