Argh, I can't believe I went to bed and now KOTOR isn't such a great deal anymore :(

SPAZ looks fun though, I might get that.

Do it. It's fantastic and well worth twice the sale price.

Does Assassin's Creed 2 still have the crazy-restrictive DRM? If it does, I can't buy it because it'll be unplayable at my apartment...

Not on the XBox 360.

The DRM there is the inability to use it on a computer, which is pretty restrictive.

Speaking of, I have the option of buying AC2 for $20 on the PS3, or $5 for the PC.

I have AC1 on the PS3.

If I get it for PS3, I'll have the familiar controller and the 46" TV, also no DRM. If I get it for PC, cheaper and mouse+keyboard is potentially the better control setup.

Thoughts?
I'm fairly sure Ubisoft released a patch that got rid of the DRM on AC2, but I'm not 100% certain, so google before buying.

Alternatively, just buy it on Steam and find a cracked version somewhere.

I liek assault squad for the gameplay improvements, but the missions are only of the skirmish type so far as I can tell, thats not a bad thing but the first game had more variety on mission objectives. Both are good and are fairly similar in gameplay. If  i were to get one I would say Assault Squad, but if i could afford both, i would say get both.

Until soldiers automatically get ammo from nearby corpses, I almost refuse to play that game. That and I also suck miserably, and so have a hard time enjoying it.

-50% Sword of the Stars II

Still not sure it's worth getting yet. I always figured on not getting it until it had at least one expansion, if not more, and I actually owned either windows 7 or 8 (I'm running 8 now and it's pretty good even if it's supposed to be in an alpha state - it's far better than 7 was in beta, in that stuff actually works - but it's not a permanent situation).

Of course, I haven't bought a single thing on Steam during this sale so far.

Mouse+keyboard is not the better setup for Assassin's Creed. The control style centers very much around the control pad setup, as you have probably noticed. I would personally put out the extra money to get it on the PS3, unless you have a gamepad for your PC.

The Binding of Isaac is super-cheap right now. $1.49 for the game and soundtrack. I think I'll be getting this, as I've heard nothing bad about it.

Also, Wasteland Angel looks kind of interesting. Has anyone here played it? (I'm downloading the demo now.)
