Arcen's games are all massively on sale on Steam to celebrate the release of its new game, AI War 2.
These games include:
Bionic Dues: $1.99 down from $9.99.
Mecha Roguelike - Switch between up to four mechs and utilize their stats and weapons to complete missions throughout the city, all to prepare yourself for a final battle once the days remaining reach zero.
Starward Rogue: $2.39, down from $11.99.
Basically Binding of Isaac but with more of a bullet hell twist, with several concessions to ensure you're not quite going PICHUUN right out of the gate. You start levels with shields, you have multiple weapons (including a primary, a secondary, a missile/explosive, and certain usable items), you can pick several different characters all suited to different playstyles (including one that's literally SUPERHOT but as a top-down bullet hell shooter).
You can also pay $4.60 instead to get the base game alongside the AUGMENTED DLC, which adds a lot more stuff (floors, enemies, rooms, obstacles, bosses, items, and characters).
AI War: Fleet Command: $1.99, down from $9.99.
Very complex Real-time Strategy game with a unique element - "AI Progress". This is a measure of how big a threat the AI Considers you to be - increasing as you destroy assets, take control of other areas, and in general move close and closer to victory. If this grows too large, the AI will do its damnedest to destroy you - and you don't want that.
You can also pay $3.39 instead, to get the base game and all its DLC - which adds several new races, techs, scenarios, and AI behavior patterns.
The Last Federation: $3.99, down from $19.99.
You play as the last of your species - with your goal being to unify the other 8 races of your planet through any means necessary. There's also a turn-based bullet hell combat system similar to that of Stormwinds or Darkwind: War On Wheels in that you input your commands and then see how things play out.
You can also pay $4.99 instead, to get not only the full game but its 2 DLCs -
* Betrayed Hope adds Betrayal Mode, where your objective is to destroy everyone, and Invasion Mode, where one race has been destroyed by an invading civilzation, and the player must unify the others to push them out.
* The Lost Technologies, where every single race gets unique techs to set them apart from each other, among other things. Also adds a game mode where the major focus is on technology, rather than destruction or unity.
Also, Running With Rifles (Top-down Open World shooter where allies, enemies, and yourself can all die from just one bullet) is on sale on Steam for $4.49, down from $14.49.
I'd describe RWR as being like ARMA but streamlined in many ways, but as I've never played ARMA (Except a little bit of ARMA Cold War Assault), I don't know how accurate that description would be.
EDIT: Also, Road Remption (Road-Like where you either shoot your foes or beat at them with shit) and Killing Floor 2 (COD: Zombies but it's actually good and also has RPG elements) are both $9.99 each as part of some promotion where the two get content from each other.
Also, Hitman Games are on sale on Steam, presumably to celebrate the relase of HITMAN 2: No Subtitle - which itself is...
Full price at $59.99.
Also, Fallout 4 GOTY is $29.99 down from $59.99.
Shoot people with guns that never jam or break, mod the shit out of your weapons of choice, build more settlements because they need your help, slowly grow from someone who's average in all areas at best into someone who's basically a legend, and keep searching for your lost son because your Water Chip GECK Dad Package now has to be associated with the "bad guys" this time.
Probably plenty of other games out there on sale that are worth looking at.
