This weekend the complete GTA pack is only £5.  Anyone know how good the PC ports were?  I seem to remember GTA4 being heavily criticized on release, but I'm not certain about that.

Also the first 2 GTA games have already been released for free at gta classics http://www.rockstargames.com/classics/ so you might not want to buy it if you're only after those two games.

Did they even fix GTA2? AFAIK it didn't work in modern OS (I tried it). Note that they don't seem to actually be charging for the first 2 GTAs (it also says here $12.49, which is more than £5).

Steam is selling a collection of Myst titles for $10. Is it worth getting?

(It lacks Myst 3, 4, and 5, but includes the Uru games)

Personally I loved Riven and found it to be the peak of the series but I'm not sure if I'd be willing to buy the pack for a game I have lying around (on about 12 cds) somewhere.

Riven may or may not still have major issues running on the steam version, I remeber lot's of strange rituals required to finally get it running when I got it on the last sale...

I liked the original Myst. And the one before that (the black and white for Mac... made with something-Cards). I found Riven WAY too slow and I couldn't stand it.

Just got the 5 episodes of BTTF for about $10. Finished the first one, it's quite good, if a bit on the easy side (if you buy it, set hints to zero before starting!). Nowadays a point & click adventure game like this is quite rare.

Halloween sale! Stalker, Bioshock, Amnesia, Penumbra, Ghostbusters, Vampire:Bloodlines, Dead Space...

Valve why you take all my money.

Any must-haves? There's a ton of great games at  66%-80% off.

really everything you just listed (maybe not Ghostbusters). First Dead Space i enjoyed, more horror than its current sequel.

I already have enough games that I'm not going to have finished before Skyrim arrives.

Huh, all three Stalker games for $8.74? That's even better than the last time they were on sale. ... Maybe the price will go even lower for Christmas! :P

Hm... Bioshock 2, Left 4 Dead 2, the Fear Collection (Plus 3), Borderlands, and Terraria... All games I've been looking at for the price of one brand new game.

The only ones I'm not sure about are any of the Fear collection, Borderlands, and Bioshock 2. Are those any good?

And is the online community still going for L4D2?

Fear is amazing if you like Bullet time and creepy little girls disintegrating people in front of you or gibbing them.

i actually liked the game, the horror stuff was much to the random chair jump but damn it was a good shooter, try the multiplayer version first and see how you like it.
