Build a huge, three-dimentional Mortal Kombat logo(Stonesense here would be cool). Then build a subzero throwing ice while a scorpion is throwing his rope/snake/kunai/getoverhere thing;
Build a Zeus statue sitting down like they did in the old greek temples. Bonus points if you build an actual temple around it. Bonus if the temple is made entirely of marble(or limestone) blocks and the statue is made of solid gold(opposing hollow gold
). Megabonus if you build all temples as depicted in greek history. Megadwarf bonus if you build a temple and statue out of bloodthorn and cover it all with elf blood. Blood for the blood god!;
Build a Sphinx and put a support holding its nose. Build your fort inside it(the nose being the entrance). Once you're happy with the amount of dwarves you have, colapse the nose on top of invaders;
Recreate ALL of the seven wonders of the old world, then the seven wonders of the new world. I'm brazilian, so I demand a PERFECT Cristo Redentor.
EDIT: Bonus points if each wonder is at a different embark site(so they acctually exist and then meet their downfall) AND if you build your fort INSIDE the wonder!
Gonna think of more...
EDIT(my mind is crawling with ideas): Instead of tunneling the mountain into a ground mole home, tunnel directly on the plain aboveground area(diggin, then, an ant
colony home). Then build an above ground castle full of traps, treasure and monsters. When the castle is huge and interesting enough, close the fort and abandon. Return in adventure mode.(this is an old one, but cool nonetheless)
Try the Hermit if you haven't already.
Build a totem to armok made entirely of wooden cages with starving, naked elves inside.
Bonus if you build the whole totem with intercalated supports between each cage, for when it reaches 50-Z you will pull the lever removing the supports For an easier outcome, span the totem 50-Z levels up, made of walls, and THEN place supports holding elves in cages. Once you're satisfied, pull a lever conected to EVERYTHING up there.
As for mods, mod your dwarves to be composed entirely of water, so that any attack against them turns them into a small puddle. Bonus if you change the composition of goblins to copper(or bronze so that steel is the only thing that trully harms them).
