Hmm, I was thinking of Snow White and the 7 dwarves that abducted her

But that sounds dwarven.

Clearly now all we need added are dogs with bees in their mouths and when they bark they shoot bees at you. Thus we can release them along with the dogs & bees themselves when unwelcome guests come to your fortress.

And then lock the door.

What about the eighth dwarf, Necrotic? Why was he never mentioned in the story? Because he was rotting under the floorboards.

Ah yes, maybe they would skin her and make nice little leather bags and purses they could use to carry coins in. The coins would naturally be minted with various pictures of her miserable end.

Why couldn't my vampire Hammerer eat someone useless, like a migrant? Instead, she went after my only gemcutter.. but sadly there were no witnesses, so I convicted someone's pet duck as the murderer.  It got off easy, with no beatings or jail time.  >.<

The witch goes to the cottage to give Snow White the poisoned apple, walks up to the front door, and steps onto a weapons trap that has ten masterwork steel serrated blades. The dwarves spend the next week picking up pieces of her in their front yard.

Knowing DF dwarves, they woulda spent 2 years of crafts buying a apple from the evil queen, and given it to the prince, with a very specially heated tomb waiting for him. Heck, no sane dwarf is going to give up a tall babe with no beard, without a fight.

Should you fail to comply, strict !!disciplinary actions!! will be taken. Also, we feel we should remind you that one of the "criminals" on your list is the chief medical dwarf. If he ends up too badly injured to do his job, you will be fired. Out of a magma cannon.
Sincerely,
The Administration

However, since the apple was the closest food, and gnomeblight is the only applied poison, snow white procedes to eat it and her jaw rots off.

Snow White finds a little house in the woods, and goes inside.  She stays there until the humans that live there come back, because DWARVES DON'T LIVE IN HOUSES IN THE WOODS

or the alternative ending, Snow White finds a little house in the woods, and gets caught in the anti-kobold trap just outside the door.  A few days later a dwarf comes to take her underground, through many tunnels and caves to a small dark room filled with other forest creatures in cages..  Many months later a different dwarf comes to throw her down a hatch into a much larger dark room, along with all the other animals, and a small squad of dwarves in armor chop them all up into chunky red cubes.  THE END.

His own fault for deciding to build the floor from underneath.

Snow white would probably step on a cage trap and be used as a guinea pig on some !!SCIENCE!! project.

It's treated as completely normal because this is Dwarf Fortress.  There's absolutely nothing wrong with surrounding yourself with a wall of flames, only to later realize that you're surrounded by a wall of flames.
There's nothing that can't be solved by hurling fifteen roc birds at it.

Back during the DF Masters Competitions, I wanted to use the [MAGICAL] tag to make a Snow White challenge. The tag makes a unit attract all wild animals on the map toward themselves, and I'd give that to a custom creature meant to be Snow White (represents the whole affinity with nature thing). The challenge would be to keep her from getting mauled to death by the constant siege of Bears and Crocodiles and such, in a nasty untamed wilds area, using only your starting 7 dwarves.

Sadly, the tag doesn't exist anymore, and I'm having trouble thinking up something similar.

Sounds like an amazing tag. Too bad it's gone.  :'(

Funny. I actually named my first adventure character Snow and recruited seven dwarves.

Most of them drowned in a carp pond shortly afterwards and Snow sold their steel equipment, never having money problems again.

Well if you remove the [MULTIPLE_LITTER_RARE] tag from dwarves I think they have like 2-4 children each time they give birth. And if you get enough mothers up on the pillars you can probably get a good waterfall going.
Ashes are technically fire-safe.
