You use int anyway. Also, how do you know if you don't try? Just try being a mind slave for one day and I promise that you will think you love it!

Hey guys my goal is to conclude 1 day every 2 real life days, so im a bit behind, its not too hard or anything i just gotta hit reply and write something. thanks for replying so quickly and cleanly with your shifts in the main thread, this OOC thread made it way way less tedious, and i coulda posted the next days conclusion like right away if i had not procrastinated..

Im letting in another player they just need to reply or else im going on to the next guy

I notice the minotaur and the dwarf and the assassin and the illithid all listed a weapon skill very specifically, such as greataxe skill instead of two handed skill, or mace instead of one handed, or tentacle head grapple instead of general grappling. In such a circumstance i will give +2 to your specific skill and -2 if you try to use the skill more generally. Hope that makes sense.

Question, what affects research? I know int dos, but what else? I'd have thought druidry in this case but m progress was still ony 8 points again for a total of 16.

time to completion is usually expressed as (valuegenerated$/goalvalue$)
research however is (hours generated/goalhours)

so intrinsically research takes longer because it takes way more hours.

Right now it goes +8 hours towards the goal per shift, If you roll well you get a +50% or +100% bonus, Intelligence helps this, but i should add some skill too or something, maybe i should let the relevant spellcasting skill add to it.

So. Time for me to start working on getting a pet demon. It won't happen for a long, long time, but it's still good to plan for the future.

I'm not sure what type I want, though. What do you guys want?

Yes, tools, or even better a toolset gives bonuses. (in my last game they were necessary for not having a penalty instead) For research a workshop/lab/study/ gives bonuses.
