Okay. So you are full. I am exploring, so hold back on the attacking friends and if I am lucky and bring back a goblin or something you can have it's brain.

By the way: whee, an imp! Cheap slave labour for menial tasks.

More seriously: we really, really need to improve the defences. I strongly suggest barricading the entrance once our explorer is back. Rocks, spider webs, whatever. Personal improvement can wait after we know we won't be killed outright.

Edit: hmm, maybe I should get Shigon to teach me how to summon a familiar later. I could use a minion to delegate the collection of ingredients to.

Ah yes... the imp. We all know what is about to happen to him. Just a moment as I edit my action (again)

So long as you guys leave a way for me to get back in, why wait? I am not really suited to such a task anyway, so my help would not be such a big thing to miss.

Hopefully I can find a group of goblins or something and manage to bring them back, then we could really start a barricade.

What I really need in this game is some sorta hard drugs. That would be very helpful. I wonder if we could grow some somehow.

Maaaaybe you could hold off on eating people until you are hungry? You can certainly have the imp if it comes down to that... But really, waiting would be better.

I probably heal slower if I don't have food every turn and it is unlikely you are going to find anything, so why go hungry?

Because that imp could have potentially done three additional tasks for us per day?

Yes.

The imp has guaranteed task abilities. (And, quite frankly I value his abilities in non combat tasks more then yours.)

You might, might, do slightly less tasks if you do not eat him.

We certainly seem to be our own worst enemies.

Hastur, what do you think of the character-like-thing I posted? I wanted to try something I don't think I could anywhere else, but it's also the only thing I want to try here. What needs to be changed for it to be valid?

Also, is Demonic Spoon going to regrow the shrieker so you guys have warning?

Imagine a cool peice of sky-blue and milk-white marble about 3cm by 2cm and by 0.5cm, containing a tiny 2mm malacolite crystal. Now imagine the miles of metamorphic rock it's embedded in that no pick or chisel will ever touch. Then, imagine that those miles will melt back into their mantle long before any telescope even refracts an image of their planet. The watchers will be so excited to have that image too.

I was planning to do that this turn yes. And possibly grow some plant barricades later. Currently however it seems as if we have a bit of a food problem so I would suggest that you guys gather food.

EDIT: Since sly might cause the shrieker to go off and we appear to be almost our of food, going to be growing some sweetpods instead

You know what, I think I should just stick with the warlord. The command ability will come in handy as soon as the sprite can get those mushrooms moving and able to do stuff for us. They should be npc's so I can command them to do stuff for us.

So the fire damaged door is being used as a makeshift bridge across the pit?
