Alright, so it looks like the kinks may have been sorted out (here's to hoping!) I should have Shaolin Soccer up for tomorrow afternoon, and might put up part 2 of Hogfather as well (so we can finally finish it).

Despite my best efforts, I can't seem to get subtitles burned into the video with any of the programs I've tried... and it takes me almost an hour to encode it on each attempt. Might have to hold off on Shaolin Soccer until I can stream it directly.

Going to be out for the afternoon, but I'll be back in the evening. I did manage to get Hogfather Part 2 ready. If folks want to catch it, I imagine I'll be back around 8-ish EST. I can also put the movie on autoplay to start at 8 if I'm not back yet. All in all, depends on whether folks are interested.

Just to keep all you sports fans up to date, I've been fiddling around with Twitch TV and XSplit, which together make an improved alternative to Livestream and Procaster. On one hand, it's much more powerful, seems to run better, and has a lot of options I didn't have before. The tradeoff is that it's significantly more complicated to set up and use, and is taking a bit of getting used to. I can stream from my desktop or from existing files, but I'm having trouble getting audio directly from my computer, saving videos, etc.

I'll keep you guys posted. Odds are I'll be doing testing tomorrow, and you guys are welcome to tag along and tell me how the new set up works. Odds are, we'll be watching videos until I can get Desktop or Game capture mode working well.

So, gearing up to test XSplit/Twitch.TV (and Virtual Audio Cable) with some Samurai Pizza Cats, and possibly Sega Saturn Games (I want to see how well they work). The set up is more complicated on my end, but it'll allegedly work better, and TwitchTV should have less adverts and stuttering issues to boot!

Using XSplit, I should be visible on both my TwitchTV and Livstream channels. Let me know if any of you can drop by to help me test!

Chat is probably because of the humble bundle mojam, its been rather slow to load in general the past few days.

Yeah, I've been getting kicked from chat, and taking some 5-10 minutes to reconnect. That, coupled with the issues I'm having with the XSplit service and running Sega Saturn games is just made of the blegh.

Anyway, going to be going live on the usual Livestream for a bit tonight, demoing some Super Mario Crossover! Huzzah!
