Hope you all enjoyed the MSX Metal Gear funtimes. If folks would like (I know Janet at least was keen on seeing it) I would be quite happy to continue them in the near future.

Also, though I got responses from some people when I demoed it in the Stream a few days back, who among you might be interested in starting up the Record of Lodoss War series with me some time soon? It's basically Dungeons and Dragons, as envisioned by Anime, and is one of my childhood favorites. I tried to Stream it once upon a time, but never finished it... I'd like to remedy that!

Anime DnD? Why not.

Ah yes, poor, tortured, angry Orson. He's certainly cool, but I don't know if he beats Ghim; in a fight he's got more tricks up his sleeve than Orson's habit of smashing everything ever, and in the grandfatherly mentoring department he kicks unprecedented amounts of ass.

Hey, the show's pretty good, so I'm up for it.

But they really do need to get a better team, two warriors/paladins can't do all the work, and that Cleric is just bad.
...They need a Bard or something.

I made a fanart in iSketch.

It pretty much sums up her character.

I have a choice, Gentlemen... Should I buy Cthulu Saves the world and Dungeons of Dredmor, or should I save up my money to buy a bigger game?

Alright, going to aim for showing the first few episodes of Lodoss War tomorrow afternoon (around 2-4pm GMT-4). We can do up to 4, depending on how many people feel like watching! Also, I do have the Dual Audio recordings, so we can decide whether we prefer Subs or Dubs once we're there.

If you're on the fence about watching, know that it's an anime about Knights, Wizards, Elves, and Kings, and their huge shoulder pads. That's pretty much all you need to know.

Knights, Wizards, Elves, and Kings, and their huge shoulder pads.
If you put it that way it almost sounds like WoW-the anime. *shudder*
