See, there is a magical place called the Bay 12 Photo Thread, where this mystical man name Solifuge posts pictures, occasionally ones of himself and his bearded accomplice.

THERE WERE NO BEARDS! D:<

But I would like to drop by to say, I'm intending to stream the exceedingly retro MSX Metal Gear tomorrow afternoon, for a few hours before Vector's Metal Gear Solid stream. We'll probably start around 4pm.

Oooh!  Hey, Soli, thanks for the plug!

(If anyone is interested in a catastrophically bad playthrough of MGS, I'm airing at 3PM GMT-8 at "mathbeautificationsociety" every day for the next bit.)

I'll probably try to come watch this, so announce it in the happy thread or something when you start, hey?

No problem, and will do.

I've been looking into things to stream next, once the current things are wrapped up, and I'm considering doing a full-on LP of one of Black Isle's D&D-based RPGs, but doing it as a shorter, episodic thing, with viewer-provided Party Members, and so on. I might like to do Planescape Tournament, or perhaps Baldur's Gate... though I do have a year-old Temple of Elemental Evil Let's Play that I have yet to finish... I was enjoying writing that one out, though.

I'll take suggestions, but as usual I'm liable to be very particular with what I play.

How awfully naughty of you to consider yourself >:(

On another note, I loaded up Amnesia myself and ran the extra content Justine and fuck ._. Scary shit.

Also, Temple of the Elemental Evil is a pretty good game, if a boring clichéd story in my opinion.

On the Black Isle games I've only played Baldur's Gate 1/2 and Fallout 1/2, but they're <3.

For Magicka , I'm waiting to get 3 friends together on Skype or Ventrillo one afternoon, so we can struggle our way through it together. I love Ecco 2 enough to finish that any day, and we're a good 1/3 in so far. Phantasy Star IV, with its Manga panels and 80's hair and Sci Fi plot, is something I'd very much like to share with you, Hell Mode or No. Terribad RPGs are good for a demo, but I may have a hard time sticking it out unless it's so bad its Compelling.

I'll finish Temple of Elemental Evil without streaming it, since I want to write that one out as a narrative; it was good practice for embellishment and description, since the story was a bit bland and generic fantasy (what a funny idea, "generic" fantasy. Even fantastic imagined stories have gone run of the mill).

Anywho, in a few hours we'll be starting the classic Metal Gear games! I'm familiarizing myself with the MSX controls right now... it's like a little cartridge-based laptop. Pretty cool!

Alright, managed to relocate my compy to a quiet part of the apartment, and am gearing up to demo Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2. We'll be starting momentarily, so I hope to see you there!

P.S. I can't believe I forgot; I want to start streaming the Record of Lodoss War series again! I showed a few episodes back when I first found Livestream, and it was pretty popular. I've been meaning to give it another showing since.

Stream Over. The Zanzibarbarians won. Snake was killed by the Nasassasins, dumped into a garbage chute, and replaced by Raiden.
