I'm in, if we don't get an all-forest start (I've been getting nothing but that and its really annoying to move in)

If you play as Elves, that forest suddenly turns into a highway, and most of your units can keep pace with mounted units on open plains.

I'll call dibs on the dorfs then. Gotta keep this balanced.

Hmm...
Elves, Golem Dwarfs, or the Epic Beard Men. Possibly some other group.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Which one of them? Because if I'm in I'm thinking Horse guys or Golem Dwarfs.

The Khazad, 'course.

Although I would choose the Balseraphs if I could. Charisma, insanity, all I want. What a shame that guy's a clown though. *shudder*

You can change it in the options.

Okay, I reinstalled Civ 4 and its expansions, replayed the tutorial on traditional Civ 4, and installed Fall from Heaven and am installing the extra Orbis mods. I want to play with you guys, but I'm afraid of getting totally curbstomped.

And I'd help but Civ 4 Gold Edition only came with Vanilla Version and Warlords.

I tried this Orbis thing, it didn't feel a lot like what I watched I think, also, why was Fall from Heaven Necesarry? Orbis seems to sit for itself alone anyway.

I'm thinking about 3.5 hours from this post, if folks are up for it. You may need to log into Hamachi to play. If so...
  • Network Name: SeriousFrivolity
  • Password: huzzah
Also, Fall From Heaven II was the base game, and plays a bit differently (it feels more cohesive and CivIV-like, if you're a purist). Orbis is just my preference because there are more options; sure, some of the factions break theme a bit, and there are radically different mechanics (namely ranged attacks with archers), but I thought they fit well enough. I do switch between the two sometimes.

EDIT:
Hey Soli, you know how you said spheres would be bad in minecraft or something?

Aklyon... what have you done? What have you done!?
