Curse your crafty ways. You put that up ten minutes after I settled in for a movie. Ten minutes. I could have had fun with you guys rather than have fun with my insufferable friends.

No worries. A brief demo turned into a 3.5 hour one; we had a good thing going!
Alas Siegfried, you will be missed. May future Illian warriors find inspiration from your legacy!

The legends of Siegfried the Everything Slayer, Roy the Gryphon Eater, Siegfrieds Mighty Avenger and Surtr the Warrior of Legends will never be forgotten!

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

He probably slacked off in the dungeon, hence why treeguy ate him.

Also, Treeguy, damn. Why are you the icemen when you need fireballs?!

Trees die in the wintertime! Or at least, remain dormant. We'll just freeze the leaves off the treant. Freeze him to the ground. Stiffen his limbs.

They move their liquids down into their roots to keep it from freezing. Freeze a tree which hasn't had time to make proper preparations and the result may be light to moderate damage to the tree's innards, and likely needing to grow new leaves as the old ones would be mostly destroyed.

There was no death, and no combat, but he disappeared. I'm pretty sure he just ran away, and defected from the army to save his hide.

Anyway, was anyone who has Civ IV interested in trying multiplayer Fall From Heaven II with me some time? The mod, and associated files, are here. The version I was playing was the FFH2: Orbis mod-mod, which is near the bottom of that link.

I think it would be fun as well. It's been a while since I've played Civ IV, though.

Not my actual cd (it is lost in the drawers of Big Desk), but this copy works and I've got FfHII working, so woo.

I might know how to play Civ, but that doesn't stop me from failing on the easiest difficulties!

We could run a quick tutorial game with the 1 City Challenge, and play on a smaller continent. It ought to keep things simple enough for learning.

If folks are interested, would you guys have time in a few (2-ish?) hours to try a multiplayer FFH2:Orbis game with me? Make sure you snag the Orbis Mod-Mod too, since it adds in more features, ranged attack mechanics, corporations, mana types, balance, and most importantly factions and units!

Say uh I think I found and downloaded the mod  but it has a different title screen with a demon on it and with not as many leaders. Why is that?
