So, folks up for Episode 1 (and maybe 2?) of Game of Thrones in a few? I'll idle in chat for a bit, and maybe bug folks in IRC too: http://www.livestream.com/SeriousFrivolity

Depending on how quick folks can assemble, we can start within the next few hours (3 hours at the latest!) Might have to find something fun to stream in the meantime.

Episode 1, as in the very first episode? I'm game. Never saw GoT before, but I've been meaning to check it out :P

We actually did watch Game of Thrones S03 Ep01, and I streamed some games after that. More GoT this weekend, if folks are up for it.

Also, I wanted to do an interest check, see if folks might want to join me for a good old retro game-stream? I've been uncovering some pretty fun, solidly-made titles on various older platforms, and have been trying them out in my off time. First up would be Shantae; it's a fun, cute, well-made exploration/platformer from the Game Boy Color days, and really pushes the hardware to it's limit. Contains catchy tunes from Jake "Virt" Kaufmann, whom you probably know without knowing; he crops up all over the place.

So, some evening soon? How's schedules over the next few days?

What Furt said, aside from being totally free. Still, I'd try it.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

As an aside note, I'd like to take this moment to  recommend The Lost Vikings. Because that game was pretty cool. X3

Thanks to Toonami bringing back One Piece (and giving me motivation to continue again), I've been marathonning the entire Skypiea Saga for the past 2 weeks (70 freaking episodes) to catch up to it. I can use a break. Thank God I don't have to worry about commercials, and I can also skip the openings and endings to squeeze out as much time as possible. But still; after so much watching, I can use something else to distract me.

Spoiler: SIDE-NOTE: (click to show/hide)

EDIT:
Sorry about that (Also been ages since I last visited the GD boards. Needed to take some time off from there). And Friday sounds good.

So, I'mma go get rid of most of my hair. Then when I get back we shall Livestream some Papers Please, and Shantae!

If there's a common theme between these games, I have no idea what it is. All I know is that I want to play them.

The moment the lever was pulled, somebody's pet kitten stepped onto the bridge. I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.
