I'd say you have the potential to do really well friend, but you'd probably have to gear your style towards making videos for Youtube directly rather than upload streams.

But you can consider me a subscriber immediately.

Don't forget you can lift the 15 minute limit thing in someway, Soli.

Oh, I could do that a while ago. You just have to be suitably awesome.

...or get really lucky and upload a huge Homestuck Flash that happens to crash Newgrounds, causing hundreds of people to look your video up on Youtube, and drastically inflating your subscribers in a short span. That works too.

<_<

>_>

Not that I would know anything about that.

I think you have to do one of those nifty "Give them your phone number and verify so you can upload higher than 15 minutes" things.

Exactly that sorta, you give them a number that can receive a message and you will quickly receive a message which you then input where they tell you and suddenly the limit is done for. Or at least thats how it worked for me.

In other news, I finally took the plunge and have now registered mah Youtubes with Google so they can pay me to put little unobtrusive ads in them. If it ends up being lucrative enough, I can quit my day job, and become a Yogscast, or whatever you kids are calling them these days.
So what you're saying is I should put your youtube channel on repeat while I'm at work?

Edit: Hmm, I'm not getting ads.
Edit2: OH GUESS WHAT GUYS?!

I went to comment on a Solivideo and Youtube ever-so-kindly let me know that apparently I have MY OWN CHANNEL?![/sarcasm] I kind of wish I didn't have personal videos on mine and that I could change the name, but I guess I'll have to make a new one if/when I want to upload stuff.
Edit3: heehee skype karaoke.

The moment the lever was pulled, somebody's pet kitten stepped onto the bridge. I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

Hey guys! Writing to you from a hacked Wii on some Rated ARR bandwidth my neighbors kindly supplied. Long story short, Internet, etc, was prematurely canceled by the roomie, so it's going to be hard to stream or post for the forseeable future. Forseeable, because this has stiffly dicked my ability to contact new roommates and potential residences. House-hunting is now on Hard Mode. :I

(Typing is also on Hardmode; using a Wiimote is like cross-room hunting and pecking at the screen keyboard.)

Anyway, I'll do the best to keep y'all posted as I can. Feel free to keep using the thread to organize MP games and such. I bequeath both serious and frivilous streaming duties to BlueRobin while I'm gone. Until we meet again, peace my doodabuddies!

Aww man, now I HAVE to stream. :P

Good luck getting everything figured out, it sounds like you have your work cut out for you. If there's anything I can do let me know, I'm fairly close.

I've got a bit of an urge to play OTTD, would anyone want to join/watch me stream us playing it?

Ok, it'll be tomorrow around 1pm EST (either OTTD or something else multiplayer, maybe Impossible creatures). I'll make a post in the ancient OTTD thread to see if there are more people who would want to join in.
