Indeed. I do systema and sambo IRL, and I love monk characters. we're never less than full strength unless you cut our hands and feet off.

Heck, monks can use elbows, knees, even their heads.

Strictly speaking, monks can use elbows and knees for unarmed attacks at no penalty.

Nah, monks are good, but warblades are better. When I hit level 5, I'm turning off gravity.

I am seeing him pulling a big switch called bull shit.

Edit: Also:

Nah, monks are good, but warblades are better. When I hit level 5, I'm turning off gravity.

It's all in how you play them.

Gravity is not a condition.

Edit: Repeat after me. The sun is not a condition.

Gravity is a belief. not one that my monk holds. Please, don't turn the game into rules lawyering and trollphysics..

Lucky for you, you are not in his group.

Edit: There is also a difference in specifically interpreting something wrong and rules lawyering.

Cough. Run well you can Barbarossa.

(Just kidding)

Although I do take offence to the remark about rules lawyers, I think that you will find if you look closely most of the bad rules lawyering is in fact breaking the rules. Things like pun pun and the iron heart surge 'trick' rely on adding or taking a away a word or two and specific ignore of certain things.

Bah, I have left over rage from previous group. As sated, they were munchkins, who joined up after the DM made friends with them. don't talk to them anymore.

If you pulled that kind of bullshit in one of my games I'd dispel that lame "Alive" condition.

That or just politely ask you to go be a neckbeard somewhere else.

Not nearly creative enough. I would make it so that gravity and the cumulative effects there of would stop effecting them. Smear them over the landscape at a billion miles per hour.
