Okay, base stats:
STR  17
DEX  14
CON  15
INT   13
WIS  12
CHA  11

should I post a full character sheet? if so, in what form?

Myth weavers is nice.

You can do the auto maker thing but it looks quite messy.

I used the character generator at pathguy.com, base content, and I rolled for my stats manually.

Yeah, that's the messy one I was talking about.

Most likely a good idea to put that in a real sheet at myth weavers or the tangled web. Or others, I am sure you can take your pick from a ton of free DnD sheets on the web.

Also I was semi serous about that, the quicker geezer dies the quicker we can get you playing another character that may be effective.

I used to be your DM, I know you can make one.
Oh, I know I can make an effective character. I've made 20th level fighters so optimized that they regularly slay hydras and wizards. Even now I've got a hilariously effective Water Orc Battle Sorcerer running over in the Western Marches game. I'm mainly doing this character for the challenge: can I optimize a terrible character to the point of survivability? I'll have fun either way, it's just a different kind of fun this way.

If someone rolls a wizard, for all that's good and well, take prestidigitation! It allows so many things. Oh so many.

It can do four things. All of them by definition useless.

Only if you don't roleplay.

Four is still not so many, and it is still useless.

It can make for a fun five minutes of role play though, I give you that.

Well aren't games supposed to be fun? And roleplaying games should contain roleplaying should they not? So mathematically useless, but not everyone plays their character as a min maxed mathematically perfect juggernaut. I prefer making fun characters, rather than staking out the next 20 levels on paper.

EDIT: just realized how ragey that was. Apology.... My last D&D group were all mathmunchkins.

Well yes, I as well like to role play, but also power game. Annnnnnddd....
well you seem to have me here. I guess I just don't normally go for the impress the dirt farming yokels so much as the rip out their spines and make the body dance.

Why not do both? Impress them, wait for them to trust us, THEN gratuitous violence, possibly with a disrespectful marionette show performed using the corpses....

Seeings as I rolled me a monk, I'm lawful by default anyway. Still, I enjoy La/Ne characters. they're interesting, without being all white knight-ey.
