Also even with that is still wrong because age modifiers stack.

Also if you go with a really old guy, every night better be story time.
According to the SRD, the Old category has -2 to physical, +1 to mental. And I will totally do story time. I'll start preparing stories now.

Yes, and that stacks with the -1 phy and +1 men from middle age.

*Clap* *Clap* Story time!

And it stacks, barb. It stacks with other age categories.
Joking about the character. Zen archery with a harpoon and -1 to DEX? -3 to STR? No con mod? Original character are cool, but there is a slight diffrence between playing a useless gimped senile wiseass as a LEVEL 1 FIGHTER and an "intresting" concept

I personally thought that +5 to hit at level one was pretty good. 1d10-3 damage isn't so bad when you consider that every hit either deals the damage twice or cripples an enemy.

I don't have that one, so I'm going to have to deny it.

He's talking about GMT, so as long as you're in America it's not that bad.

Whoops, double post.

It's... okay. 1d10-3 damage is pretty much terrible, though. Average damage is 2.8, so it's pretty minimal even if they do take it twice. And let's not forget the fact that you can only attack three times in a battle. After that, you're sitting around hoping nobody comes after you.

The hilarity is that your times are very close to that, you just did not change it to GMT like the GM said to.

I'll try to find some way of increasing it. Luckily harpoons have ropes on the ends for better harpooning, so I can actually use them to either restrict enemy movement or just yank them back out for more damage. If those fail, I have enough gp to acquire a dagger. If even that fails, I can just run away on my whoers.

The dagger that does less damage then a harpoon, and the horse you can not afford?

At any rate here is my sheet. It is almost done, I only need to pick out stances and maneuvers and write a back story.

Edit: How the heck did Vanigo get 2.8 as the average?

Edit 2: Why does Vanigo care if Barba makes a ineffective guy?
