Oh yeah. Well that was an either or thing so I couldn't tell if you meant to harm or help

Wait, that's my RtD, right? Technically, double means *2, and -550*2=-1100...

I think that with this the it's best to do it this way because

1. It helps me 

2. Based on the way the magma card was handled

3. It's simpler this way

* If a card causes a player to lose/gain a portion of points rather than a set amount, and it can not be tracked by the presence of the card, negative/positive points will be added to the players Floating Point pool until the desired total is reached.

Also, a larger negative number would DECREASE his points and the card clearly says to INCREASE them

Okay, judgement calls...
Crime and punishment only effects cards that CAN target players. Cards that cannot, like, say, banhammer, can still be targeted against cards that player owns.
In the same vein, Kingmaker does not prevent players from targeting any card they own, but if they target a player, it can't be themselves.

For the roll to dodge - I am going to say that increases your points by half simply means multiplying them by 1.5. If you have -550 points, and take half (-225) points, you then increase your score by -50, resulting in -150. However, I'm also going to say the point value of the card itself kicks in before the rolled effect does. That means they start with -310, and increase their score by -155 to a wonderful -465.

As always, if you have an issue, feel free to challenge me on it. Also, I think the point of Kingmaker is you guys are supposed to get to politicking and making promises

However, I'm also going to say the point value of the card itself kicks in before the rolled effect does. That means they start with -310, and increase their score by -155 to a wonderful -465.

The problem I have with that is that the card very clearly says to INCREASE the number of points by half on a 5. If you just multiply by 1.5 then it actually DECREASES the points value. Especially seeing how a roll of 2 does the exact opposite of a 5, decreases your score by half.

Yeah, that kingmaker is a seriously unfun card. It encourages sitting on your ass and not playing anything.
