I really dislike the shake. I mean a camera in a mech is supposed to shake in a particular direction. This looks like it's just shaking randomly, like a camera tied to a chain, dangling along with the wind.

I tend not to be too impressed by videos, as in my experience, they get very disappointing.

Actually I was under the impression that the shaking of the camera was NOT supposed to corespond to the mech

It was supposed to be like movie shakey cam. Which is supposed to make everything look my gritty and confusing.

So here's the official cinematic trailer.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwA03XsKzbY&feature=player_embedded

Nothing you probably haven't seen if you've been following this, but this score is pretty nice.

Release is still TBA.

Like, I heard this game is so un-Mech-like, your onboard computer's voice is done in auto-tune.  :P
If that's the case, I'll have to find some way of replacing it with Vocaloid.
I agree with Akura here.
Also agreeing with the awesome-lookingness.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

I....holy shit.

Just...the details. Fuck, those DETAILS!

I may comparatively be a noob at the whole 3d modelling scene, but I know a guy who works at Rockstar. Although he was working on vehicle models, he told me that making a proper, current-gen character takes around two-three weeks, never less than one. So those big games that take years to develop? they're being produced by companies with hundreds of artists. They've done that in 9 months, and there's only nine of them!

Just, fuck. That is beautiful. Their company name, Adhesive Games, is well-chosen, my eyes are glued to the screen.

Kind of puts those big money games to shame, doesn't it?  It's pretty amazing what people can do when they have a deeper motivation than cash alone.

Also, is it wrong that I already want to do a District 9 mod for it?
