Because this game is free it automatically means you've lost interest thanks to microtransactions/whatever.

Personally I think this is a good thing because I do not have much money, but, y'know, whatever floats your boat.

Pretty much.  I'd rather pay money up front for a quality experience than play a game that is designed to try to only be fun if I'm forking over dollars.  I don't like feeling like someone is trying to manipulate me.

The problem is that F2P games tend to overpower players with expendable cash and/or make you grind silly if you don't want to shell out cash.
Until I find out more details I too will give it a pass. (and I'm one of those guys that defended the first gameplay video)
