Name: Johnathan "Falcon" Viltaris
Discription: Age: 19. 6,1. Green Eyes. Medium, unkept, Brown Hair. He is a Spanish-Italian mix. He his impusive and ecentric. He has a questionable memory and he is faster than most people. He is also known for his open friendly perisonality, dispite the less-than-common snarkish comment. He served 5 years in Italian Conscrips  in a war with Egypt. However, he is highly anti-war and perfers to refrain from violence. His military experiance only reinforced these thoughts. He is also still considered a military asset to Italy, dispite his insistance that he is a civilan.
Field Of Study: Pilot, Engineer. Some (Unwilling) Military experience. Knows Parkour. Used mostly as past-time.

"Damned Cryopods."

Johnathan gets up, rubbing his head, and then queries the A.I. about whats happening right now.

(( Can you PM me in case I forget? That kends to happen sometimes. ))

((Sure))
((In other news, I had a blue screen of death today.  My first in 6 years and my computer is making strange clicking noises when I try to run some applications, I will continue to run this game.  Buy my ability to create animated pictures may be compromised if my computer kicks the bucket.))

((Johnathan gets up, rubbing his head, and then queries the A.I. about whats happening right now.))

"We are currently... 2 hours 48 minutes from touchdown.  The Aft Port Landing Strut and Starboard Sensor Array are currently offline: cause unknown.  We have detected a forien object currently 45 degrees starboard, 18 degrees dorsal.  Range: 523 000km.  Further scans have determined the object to be in orbit of our destination.  It has been witnessed displaying a predictable light pulse.  The crew is currently getting reacquainted with the ship layout."

"Okay, fine." Johnathan begins rubbing the back of head, lets out a yawn, and begins randomly wandering the ship for the deck.

(("Okay, fine." Johnathan begins rubbing the back of head, lets out a yawn, and begins randomly wandering the ship for the deck.

You find yourself at an external airlock at the starboard side, because you wanted to get to the deck.  From here, that damn pulsing light wont stop from that rogue object.  But the light show stops, and the blackness leaves you feeling very lonely in the universe.  That is, until the audio signal that infiltrates the ship takes it's place.

This sound does not repeat, it ends abruptly with a crack of static.  Then the return of silence.  The light show resumes.

Kijii:Struggles a bit trying to escape, then slumps down, defeated, waiting for the pod to launch somewhere or open, she yells at the AI for help, hoping it can still hear her.

((done work for today, downtown crapshoot job location.  Fucking rats and homeless people everywhere.))

((Johnathan "Falcon" Viltaris: It must be morse code! Attempt to de-code it.))

Your military training shines through.

((David turns to look at the nearest security camera. "Damn it, let me in!"))
"Law 2 Violation.  I can't do that Dave, I'm sorry Dave."  She says sadly.  A floor gun swivels out from under the panel just before the bars and levels itself at your face.

((Hollister: That was bloody weird. what's going on here? Find a computer terminal and search for data on Artificial Intelligences (and I mean EVERYTHING)))

You move into the bridge control room next door.

New memory unlocked: Production and Mission planning was done by "Titan Corporations & Gigga Bio Engineering."  Their description of the AI systems are as follows.
The AI system on board King's Holly is designed for the protection of it's crew and the preservation of it's mission above all else.  It is an emotionless machine driven to complete it's objectives.  It is able to interact with any electrical or mechanical device connected by fiber optic cable.

There is an attached file containing a list of AI objectives.
AI Laws.
1.Preservation of humanity.
2.Completion of mission "King's Holly"
3.Protection of the human psyche.

4.Record all mission data up until mission completion.

((Kijii:Struggles a bit trying to escape, then slumps down, defeated, waiting for the pod to launch somewhere or open, she yells at the AI for help, hoping it can still hear her.))

You have a flashback as the pressure inside the capsule increases slowly.
"The escape pods are completely independent from Kings Hollys main systems.  This is to ensure the crew has the ability to escape in the event of a ship wide power outage, or the AI thinks you're some sort of hostile alien"  The man laughs back at space dock.  "The escape pod will pressurize to 250kpa in 20 minutes, then jetison and move towards the closest planetary sized body.  Pray it isn't a gass giant.  There is an emergency release behind a wall panel next to the door, which will open the escape pod door but it won't abort the launch.  So get the hell outa dodge."*

*All said in mongolian, you still don't remember English.

Grasping a sheet of metal, you pull it away and reveal a red handle.  You shove it down and calmly walk out of the escape pod.  Leaving it to lead a lonely life in space.

End of Chapter 1.
Warning: People are going to start dieing.  You have been warned.
But if a human hasn't been claimed, you can start as a fresh player in medbay.

Hollister: Research recent advances in agricultural development (assuming any information has reached the ship while we were in cold-sleep). Then find someone to talk to other than this creepy program.

Kijii:Deciding to play it safe she wanders around until she finds one of the other cryo-sleepers, as she had dubbed them, when she spotted the floor gun aimed directly at david she made a beeline past the door, trying to find someone else.

((David, is in a maintenence access shaft.  Your random wandering taking you into that particular maintenence shaft has delivered a critical hit to my immersion.))

((I knew that morse code would get decrypted the moment I put it into text format.  Curses, foiled again))

((I fixed my computer program.  I had found a random CD in a parking lot and had it in my D drive because I was curious.  Apparently it was the source))
