SO MUCH BLOOD! /heavyimpression

I'm not sure how this happened.

While it has washed downstream, it's made the walls of my river look like something out of Kill Bill.

I had a similar prob.

For my case, it is the overland brook.  I built my fortress entrance in a small cove across a brook, where I built a drawbridge over the river which is extended by a moat.  Along comes a few kobolds.... now a section of the brook is totally red, I have blood tracking all the way into my barracks, and every creature nearby has bloody splatter items all over, which spams the already crammed info screens.  I remember reading somewhere where the blood goes away after a season.. I've waited for a year....

Actually, the coloring is still acceptable though it does make identifying stuff a little more troublesome.  The bloody splatter item spam however, is quite irritating after it spreads to so many stuff...

But all in all, not that a major problem other than presentation, compared to other more important stuff that developers may be working on, but still one that can be hopefully fixed.

Or can there by a noblood runtime option somewhere that optionally turns off all blood splatter generation?

(todo... do a screen capture)

Grate + Channel = No blood/mud tracking. I have a network of them through my high traffic areas and entrances.

That used to happen even before Z-axis. It's neat looking though.

In a way this kind of makes me happy. It means that my huge impressive steel tower is, instead, going to be a huge impressive steel tower COVERED IN BLOOD! Hardcore.

How much war could a warforged forge if a warforged could forge war?

Sadly, blood vanishes fairly quickly, while mud lasts forever. Or near enough.
