I suspect we're all distantly related to all those responsible.
Is that a sly way of saying they are not quite human? If so bravo. If not huh?

Not so much, no.  My point was that everyone can make the same claim if there's no limit on "distant".

Fuck me... I am actually distantly related to one of the guys who is responsible.

Exponential growth is a funny thing.  Don't sweat about it.  We are all related to Genghis Khan.  There's a decent chance that in a thousand years, nearly everyone will be a decedent of Hitler's family.
Everyone probably has multiple prostitutes in their family history as well.

Don't constitutional challenges only occur when someone actually has standing to make a challenge...like, "only once they have attempted to apply the law"?  In general I don't think you can object to a law just for being on the books.

Well, There are only a couple hundred people in the US with my last name and all of them are descended from the same guy who immigrated to Michigan in the late 19th century. So yes, fairly closely related.

A pillar of successful fledgling governments is the ability to resist change, whilst a developed government, by necessity, must resist stagnation. The response to failing to posses the appropriate trait is the same for each. Ladies and gentlemen, we are launching a revolt and taking over. Specifically, we will take Michigan, Florida, Texas, and some worthless state like Kansas to handle our food while we enjoy life in the other portions of our new country.

Tell me sir, what will your brave new nation be called?  And it can't be "United States of America", that one's already taken.  I wish to hear all about this bold experiment.

Well, we will be making a return to either the constitutional monarchy or a theocracy with myself seated as the chief god of the pantheon. So I suppose we can go with the Most Imperial Country, Esteemed and Sublime Holy Inquisitorial Theocracy.

Well, taking into account that people once got there last names from what they did for a living, and my last name is 'Slutmonger' I have my doubts that anybody in my close family was involved in any work of questionable morals.

(My nations initials were miceshit since no one saw/cared yet).
There are 9 people in my state with my last name. Only 4 are family, leaving me to wonder how if it is so uncommon I actually know the other people.
