In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Jesus, at this rate we are going to have a peasant revolt with pitchforks.

Hah hah hah, no. You think we're going to be able to afford pitchforks?
Who said you had to buy them...

While you losers were dicking around, I was preparing for the revolution by taking shop classes.  Making my own pitchfork FTW!

I seem to be disturbingly good at inciting people and creating propaganda.

People who know me for a while often say "he'd make a good second in command."  Interested, oh glorious leader?

Vector can go ahead and punch their buttons. I will punch their faces. One way is bound to work, right?

I'm genre savvy to boot.  If I make it to named character role and have to get shuffled off, it's going to either be in a glorious blaze of martyrdom or as a noble but tragic victim of treachery.
