Where it begins

Introduction
The city of Jasqar; A bustling city of trade, said to house the largest markets in the world, located on an island off the southern coast of Lasthein, the continent housing the Great Desert, Len Harun. Its position is considered to be the center of the world, and is near almost every trade route in the world. It is said, if you want something, you can find it somewhere in Jasqar. While it is a prominent city, famed, it is also the subject of corruption, under the surface; As are you. Whatever your past, for some reason you came to Jasqar, only to be victimised. By who, or what, you don't know, but this morning, you woke up to the desert heat, with vague memories, in an unfamiliar room. As you look around, you see 5 other people of varying race, all different, but all the same as you.

In which ropes are foiled... or not.

You fiddle around with your bindings, commenting to the others while doing so, [3] but you only manage to tighten the knot slightly.

Evyn Kardoc (Wolfchild)
You see the Vampire fiddling with the rope around his wrists, and before you know it, you are also fiddling with the rope around your wrists. [2] You gasp slightly as your finger jerks, pulling the rope tight around your wrists.

Thorbjorn Karlson (Innsmothe)
You watch two of the others in the room fiddle with their bonds, only managing to worsen their situation. You decide to one up them, and show off your prodigious strength by breaking the rope outright! [5+2] Not only do you snap the rope on your wrists, you also free your feet. You stand up and begin stretching, working the blood back into your hands and feet.

You also try to free yourself, by loosening the knot. [6] You tug once, and it slips right off. You reach down to free your feet, and they also come off with a single tug. You follow the Human's example, and get the blood flowing in your hands and feet.

Wow...That's fast! Used to spend ~6 hours processing each turn myself.

Suddenly realized something, Lokot whispered. "Let's keep quiet, whatever's got us here can't be very far out there...Let's get this done, preferably fast." While he proceeded to free others, and kept an eye out for anything unusual, and the likes of makeshift weapons or interesting ingredients.
