----MEANWHILE----

Vladimir Vladimirovich knew what time it was. It was time to act. Quickly, he drew his pistol, aimed it at his right-hand man--who opened his eyes with deep regret--and fired. Holstering his pistol as he grabbed his coat, Vlad bustled out the back door and into the forest.
One day, thought Vlad to himself, reminiscing of a lost family member
One day, I will avenge you.

----BACK TO THE TEAM----

Hawk, dousing himself thoroughly with a bucket of water, dusted himself off, and presented himself to the group.
Hawk: Guys, I wish you all good luck in whatever you're doing, but I have other work to do.
Following that statement, he dramatically exited the scene as the rest of the group stood indifferent.
Bjorn: Who was that guy, again?

Interrogate him, trying to keep him alive long enough to get information out of him, than loot his stuff from his corpse.

(5) You manage to struggle free of the guards and sprint to a safe distance before tossing a knife at one! (5 + 1 = 6) The throwing knife zips through the air, slitting a guard's throat! It then travels around the group of guards like a boomerang. It (5) Slits another throat, (Three 6's in a row!) decapitates three more (!), (4) slices open the last guard's arm, and (2) narrowly misses a random bystander. It then flies back into your hand. Holy crap.

Porin went over to Taricus, looking around for a pair of boards and some cloth as he went. If he could find some he'd attempt to set the dwarf's leg for him.

Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

As it turns out, the pen was in fact a poor choice for melee combat in comparison to the sword.
