In my characters defense do you consider an idiotic, watermelon loving, magizard hating, song humming, human who thinks he is a dwarf normal?

Grab the spider gently and make sure it can only bite my gauntlets. Shoot Tarran and entangle him then pull him up... Of course i could just shoot down a rope but we all know Ivan does the stupid thing. Oh and sing to the spider about pooping to hurry the process.

Flaming sword held high to help him see - and to help Tarran see him, Porin jogged across the ramps. He wondered what the human had gotten himself into. Hopefully it was valuable; maybe he had landed on a pile of gold coins! It was doubtful but the kobold was eternally hopeful.

Slap myself out of this mindless wandering, and punch Taric. Somewhere in the nose.

I'm back!

As it turns out, the pen was in fact a poor choice for melee combat in comparison to the sword.
So I just started playing this game and I accidentally nuked the moon.

Push Ivan off using air, water, or my fist before he can touch my spider.

And remember I survived the fall myself with no injuries.

Yes, but that was on a different action. The 6 wasn't for me falling, it was for me going further down the hall.

If you got a one, I'd say you'd still be falling. Though I'm just assuming that you're on a platform :-\

Okay... And? I don't see this countering my argument.

You know, what if I do combat using a 2d6 (1 through 12) instead of the current 1d6? That way, people like Tarran and Jake can keep their bonuses to combat without making them absolutely overpowered.

Rolls:

Ivan 'Sir Fiddle' Fiddlebottom-[1] Ivan gently charges toward the spider on Bjorn's head, making an attempt to grab it by the legs, while spouting ridiculous folk music about certain body functions. Luckily...

Bjorn Inmus-[4] Bjorn bashes Ivan in the head with his staff, knocking him over the edge. Ivan lands two feet away from Tarran, who is currently getting up and dusting himself off. The floor begins to make loud crumbling noises.

Tarran Terra-[2] Tarran hurriedly tries to make out what the pillars read, but his Dwarvic is very rusty.

"Dwarf... eat shoe... under cheese house... I believe that I cannot read this. Taric, can you help me out?"

'Jacen'-"I'mma back!"

Jacen snaps out of his trance, and begins this with a fist to Taric's nose. Taric stumbles and falls off the catwalk, right next to Tarran.

"Hey Taric, can you read these engravings? They seem to be glowing."
"It looks like it reads... uhh... He who disturbs the one will pay. Consider this a warning.""

Taric 'Madman' Cogudib-Taric looks puzzled, and decides that because the floor is really starting to feel unstable, he should really get out of here. He takes off in Porin's direction as the floor starts shaking below him. Large cracks appear in the floor below.

Porin Keeperechoes-Porin sees the three, now that the pillars seem to be glowing brighter than before. It appears that the floor is starting to crack beneath them, but not below Porin's own feet. He stands there, considering whether running to help would help at all.

"Run!" he shouts as he begins to hear pounding below his feet. It seems that there's something under the floor.

I don't mind either way, DBZ. Oh hey, your name abbreviated also stands for Dragon Ball Z. Interesting.

Tartan, jake?

You drunk?

"Oh how bloody typical for mortals, trapping random crap..." Calmly run away. CALMLY. Not like the people in movies do with their flailing and tripping.
