Burn my leg to caturize the wound, than  form a fire barrier around and in the ambush group.

(5) You manage to struggle free of the guards and sprint to a safe distance before tossing a knife at one! (5 + 1 = 6) The throwing knife zips through the air, slitting a guard's throat! It then travels around the group of guards like a boomerang. It (5) Slits another throat, (Three 6's in a row!) decapitates three more (!), (4) slices open the last guard's arm, and (2) narrowly misses a random bystander. It then flies back into your hand. Holy crap.

See, guys, you are so going to get pumped full of arrows. Good luck, I'm not coming back for you.

"Why shouldn't I?" Tarran says as he keeps his sword next to the Dark elf's neck. "Your friends are trying to kill mine."

Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

"Dark elves bad," Porin agreed simply. "Elf want to freeze?" he asked, threatening the crossbowman as well. "Burn maybe? Porin happy to oblige. Very helpful kobold." Apparently that was his idea of a joke. "Tell Tarran or die. Elf's choice how."

I thought we were in trees too. Dammit. ]'This isn't working! Pull back!'' Fire my fireballs into the forest and drag Cogs to cover.

Having begun my own RTD, I have to ask; how long does it take you to put an update together? Because these are very well done.

Not that long, actually. I just quote my original post, delete the previous actions, take out a die (I should get some of those 10-sided or 20-sided ones for more complex rtd's, maybe later), and roll. I haven't paid attention to how long it takes, but I'd say it usually takes about 10-20 minutes or so including times I get disrupted by something else, as well as people's actions. If someone's action involves heavy dialogue, it takes some time for it to sound right, but if it's just shooting my die can decide the outcome rather quickly.

Thanks though. :)

Rolls:

Tarran Terra-Tarran yanks the Elf by the neck and brings his sword up, letting him drop the crossbow in the process.
"Why shouldn't I?" Tarran says as he keeps his sword next to the Dark elf's neck. "Your friends are trying to kill mine."
"Friends got drive mad by cave! Cave bad! Monster in cave! Don't kill!"

This elf has a really bad linguistic skill.

Porin Keeperechoes-Porin sat by Tarran's side, making cruel kobold jokes as Tarran threatened the elf.

Bjorn Inmus-(5->6+2=8) Bjorn raises his staff and imbues it with the very essence of flame itself. He then swings it at his wounded leg without paying so much as a bit of attention to the arrow itself. He fires a very concentrated stream of unbelievable, sweltering flame, which reflects off the arrow's metal head, rebounding into the forest and causing a massive explosion that rises to the sky in a great and ash-filled cloud.

"I think I dealt with the archers!"

An 8 is totally an epic win :P

Ivan 'Sir Fiddle' Fiddlebottom-Ivan comes riding to Tarran and Porin before jumping off his horse, walking over to a rock, and very carefully (6-1=5) removes the arrow, causing no extra bleeding in the process. He manages to wrap up the wound as best as he can, slowing the bleeding.

Taric 'Madman' Cogudib-Taric (5) dodges an arrow, (1) dives backwards to dodge another one, (3) sees one land an inch from his face, (1) and gets hit in the (3) right upper arm, resulting in an arrow embedded in his unarmored arm!

Nihilius 'Cogs' Vekt-"Okay, maybe we underestimated them," says Cogs, (1) getting axed in the mechanical arm by the Dark Elf Axeman, getting dented in the process.

'Zrk'-"This isn't working! Pull back!"
Zrk, in a burst of heroism, runs over to Cogs, (5) shooting the Axeman in the head along the way, grabbing Cogs, and retreating to the horses with Cogs (5) before taking care to remove all the arrows.

GAME EVENT:

Obviously because of Bjorn, no more reinforcements come this turn. Keep an eye out for next turn, though.

The hidden archers fire!

(2) Taric is (6) focused upon, and takes (3) (5) (1) one of the three arrows to the (2) chest! But luckily for him, (3) the arrow embeds itself in the armor, so he just yanks it out.

Statuses:

Spoiler: Porin Keeperechoes (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Bjorn Immus (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Ivan (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Taric Cogudib (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Tarran Terra (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Nihilus Vekt (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: 'Zrk' (click to show/hide)

"Damn, it takes ages to get dents out..." grumbles Cogs, trying to spot the hidden archers.

Completly not what I had in mind.

Make a wall of volcanos around the elves.
This is going to turn out badly, I just know it.

Porin looked at Tarran to see what he was going to do, but kept his free hand towards the elf. Just in case it needed some magical smiting.
