How much is the Iron axe worth? :3

Lets make it base 34 like in DF. Of course, you can add the material and value multipliers. I'm posting from my phone at school right now so I can't do much.

No problem, I understand. ^^ Would the quality of this axe make it worth, say, 56 Urist total? If so, this will be my action:

Porin laid the axe and his money on the table. "Porin will buy em...you...nice and Strength for his armor!" he said happily.

If not;

Porin laid 500 Urist on the table and considered his options. "Porin will buy... em-you-nice for his armor." He would simply have to go to the duke, get his share of money for killing the Butcher, and come back to get the other enchantment.

On the note of splitting the reward I vote I get nothing because I didn't even help kill him

The axe is worth 34 * 5 (for iron) * 12 (for masterwork) so it would be... 2040 Urists. That's a lot. But we're using DF currency (though iron is worth 5), and a good weapon is much more valuable than a pendant and spoons.

It (5) Slits another throat, (Three 6's in a row!) decapitates three more (!), (4) slices open the last guard's arm, and (2) narrowly misses a random bystander. It then flies back into your hand. o.O Wow, that's worth a lot. Guess I'll be giving Urist the axe in exchange for Strength and Immunity on my armor and Flaming Weapon on my short sword. :3 If I can only have one effect regardless of monetary issues then I'll take Immunity so Bjorn doesn't accidentally kill me at any point in time.

I can already tell this will be hilarious.

For now you can have both, that's no problem, but I might limit it later if everyone decides to run around with 10+ magical effects on their armor and weapon.

Porin: Porin want emm-you-nice and strength. Also, can urist make Porin sword on fire?
Urist: No problem! Stand back!
Urist's staff glowed and sputtered before a beam shot out of it for a brief second. Porin felt his armor toughen before returning to its original flexibility. His sword began to grow warmer as well.
When he drew it, it burst into flames. When he once again sheathed it, it returned to its normal state.
Urist: Now let's test the armor!
Urist grabbed Porin's axe and hacked at Porin's chest with it. The axe glanced off and Urist lost his balance.
Urist: It works!

Taric 'Madman' Cogudib-Taric treaded ahead to the Duke's chamber.
Taric: I come bearing grea news!
Duke: Yeeeaaaah?
Taric: We have defeated the bandits in Barakar! Their leader lives, but fled to the forests!

Tarran Terra-Tarran stepped out into the courtyard in order to try somthing new.
Stomping on the pavement below, he started cursing at the sky and threatening to stop gravity if it refused to snow.
The sky (6) complied, and suddenly a freezing wind swept through the castle, freezing numerous inhabitants. Tarran dived into a corridor, and fled from the icy winds as the torches began to die out.
Tarran: I think we have a problem!

Nihilius 'Cogs' Vekt-Cogs (4) swung his fists at the elves, knocking both out before being interrupted by Zrk, who rushed in at the last moment.
Spoiler: Status (click to show/hide)

'Zrk'-(5) 'Zrk' enjoyed the show while it lasted, before hearing the storm approach, and grabbing his pistol accordingly. As Cogs and Ivan finished the elves, Zrk shot a nearby lamp post, which burst into flames and fell over, setting fire to a nearby building. As Tarran's snow storm engulfed the area, the flames kept the area warm. The rest of the town was no so lucky, and many fell over, unable to esist the immense cold. Porin stood in the magic shop, his armor protecting him from the conjured cold while the rest of the people in the shop shivered wildly, Urist's staff keeping them somewhat warm. Bjorn was not so lucky.

As the three scanned the area, Zrk grabbed a burning plank as a torch and observed the weather. It was now snowing across the land, and the initial winds had already covered the landscape with snow.
Spoiler: Status (click to show/hide)

So, uh, guys, I suggest you all just get to the castle. The main quest begins now. :)

Also, you can each request something from the duke. It can be armor, a spell, money, whatever. Just don't make it too crazy and it'll be fine.

Oh, GOOD ONE, Tarran. Don't you remember that once the torch goes out you die instantly? You'd better light another one while you still have time.

"Thank you," Porin said as he left to go straight to the castle. He had to talk to the duke about completing the quest, after all, and he was sure everyone else was going there or was already there, so he could meet up with them.

Why didn't I get a +1 to intimidate? Not that a 6 isn't bad, but still.

Anyway, lulz, the sky is angry.

Intimidate the sky to STOP WITH THE INSTAFREEZE OR I WILL CLOG IT UP WITH DUST FROM VOLCANOES. Regardless of the result, get to the duke, trying to look innocent of the storm.
