I am starting to think we arn't planning on ACTUALLY playing a Dwarf Fortress / DF Forum game given some of the effects people have given.

When you have to count to ten after ever play... things just become tedius.

Well usually when developing a card game you try to build an overall series of strategies in order for it to work.

Some of the suggestions for cards given seem to feel like the goal of the game is to transform the game into some sort of weird game of Dare.

Also I suggest we/you create the categories of card types right now so there isn't too much inflation. Forumite and Suggestion are excellent.

I doubt we need serial numbers ExKirby,Anyway added you to the card page.

Eg, I spent 2 hours tossing that together so we could get a game together :)

From me to you all with love.

A tree of type inheritance would be useful, to clarify the difference between things like "item" and "object". Otherwise, people will use whatever they feel like, and any subtle differences might become a potential argument.

Seeing how there aren't MtG style details with the rules that make those actually matter.....

Besides, making crazy cards is 3/4th of the fun

Recursion: (Image: the card itself, shrunken. Repeat a few times)

If you have this card in your hand, you must play it. When played, give this card to any other player. If there are fewer than three players, discard it instead.

Alternate: If each player has their own deck: When you draw this card, place it on top of another player's deck.

Not like I would understand the rules for creating a card put Head's card creator is too much fun.

Jack A T: Gain half a point.

This is a good example of what I was talking about earlier about how I am not sure this card game was meant to be played.

Generally speaking, actual gameplay goes something like:

Everyone gets a deck of cards, some blank others not
Player draws a card
Play card that isn't blank: do whatever's on the card
Play a card that is blank: Make a new card, do what it says on the card
Next player's turn
