Will our standing change based on our actions in game? I see my guys as just on the edge of being heathens and having to walk a rope between their belife and the threat of a crusade.

Honestly we are going to be militarized, not as much as the old church maybe, but we will still have enough to protect ourselfs and crusade if needed.

@Taricus that depends on quite developed planets like yours you can imagine enormous monastery forces with great Standing Armies of Power Armour Soldiers, swarms of priests and preachers, a few Inquisitors and of course at least a fifth of the planet belonging to the local Autarch, with serfs working faithfully...Imagine it like the Bishops in the Holy Roman Empire: secular mighty counts who had the support of the Church.

Contrary to that on the Backwater Planet of Tyberix you may find the same enormous fortress but nto well maintained, a half ruin showing the social decay of the planet
The few remaining troops are mostly Fanatic Crusaders given Laser Weaponry and some Basic Protection Armour(which makes them still an enormous threat) killing and hunting mutants without remorse led by an equally fanatic grim Autarch and his personal bodyguard of Power Armoured soldiers which have seen horrors beyond imagine...the Army of an Inquisitor out of the Warhammer universe

You must just imagine The Church of the middle Ages they ranted about Crusades and hordes of peasants lured by riches followed them...the standard troops will propably recruited from the local serfs, while the Power Armour Legions are getting recruits from the Noble Houses...remember you are not the only ones...just the most ambitious...

You should be carful of this unknow object on your star orbit - who knows if Church don't have some kind of Death Star in command Unless there's some superweapon they have that was common knowledge before the collapse?

I am going to be honest, we will veiw you just as much a threat as the Patrarch. We want to change it, not kill it. When we bring it to our way of thinking (or if looked at from our way) our affilation is Zealous and we will kill you given any reason.

Also that does not make a buch of sense... Baptist first, has nothing to do with this setting, second, is a Heretic religion much like Goldenist.

Edit: To make a heathen religion:

First: You don't belive in the old god.
Second: You belive in something else.

You need to say what that something else is.
