Pressing a button on the left of the holotable he called in his aid Alfanz, and handed him a sheet. Looking at his aid he says " I want all my citizens within these walls now. Spend 200.000 credits on getting some manufacturing facilities up, and 100.000 to research energy shields. I want some defenses here as soon as possible. Post the House Guards here around my house, and I want the serfs holding the walls. The rest of my men will escort the civilians in to the fortress. Now go I want my people here ASAP. "

With that he turned back to the holotable, and began moving the fiqures that represented his armies to the positions they would hold. Sitting back he thought The war begins now the Church will fall, and pay for what they did to my people.

Our first move is to send our scout crusaders regiment to engage enemy in partisan fights while we prepare our main army for counter-strike. Hopefully our reasearch finish first prototypes of Duskmantle armor before we send them. Armor specifically designed for fights on this planet would help both the scouts and our special forces. Our funding is now mainly split beetwen this project and new mediacal squads equipment,we have too few men and even one death is big loss.  Second scout regiment along with milita regiment will purge our forward camp from mutants and other threats waiting to flank enemy if needed. Also we hope to hear from our agents looking for enemy encampments soon. You know first steps are sometimes the last,tread carefully we must make no mistake. Dismissed."

Autarch Heydhan Scion was standing right outside of his tent looking down at the soldiers assembled below him.  2 Regiments of trustworthy Crusaders and his very own Household Guard would be enough to cleanse those puny Clans from the heresy. He already detached a messenger to the stranded Crusader Army under the High Warlord, to bid their assistance. With his help he would cleanse the taint of heresy from this pathetic beings and then he could concentrate on the mutant threat. The gaunt man mumbled below his scraggy beard a silent prayer to the Lightbringer that he may burn the heretics from this planet before returning into his tent.

the messenger was cut short as the sound of several fired Boltguns heralded his sudden death. Reeling backwards, the Corpse forced the old bike onto its backtire before gravity finally took hold of the dead and the machine with an even louder whine than before crashed into a boulder. "Brother, I admire your enthusiasm, but we have a saying on Athena.  Strike the Earth when your feet are firmly planet on the ground.  Our feet have just landed, we barely know the lay of the land.  Let us move first with caution so that we can move with more confidence later on.  It is true that we have great wealth at our disposal, but who knows if we will have so much later on?  I propose that for know, we limit each of the three departments to a budget of 200k, to be spent equally among each of the five planets in the system.  Additionally, I suggest a total expenditure of 100k for the construction of an exploration fleet, consisting primarily of Riotbreaker destroyers.  We should reopen contact with the galaxy so as to share with them the freedoms of our democratic government and do so as soon as possible."

On the subject of the exploration fleet I proposed before.  We currently have our spacefleet scattered evenly.  I propose that we centralize and devote some of the fleet to exploration.  Every planet will have a garrison of one cruiser and 50 fighters.  3 destroyers will be stationed at the Forge to act as a reserve along with 7 cruisers and 175 fighters.  The remaining 4 destroyers, 7 cruisers and 175 fighters will become our exploration fleet, heading out with the merchant fleet to establish contact with other systems.  As such, I propose that this matter be labeled an economic matter for the moment."

Triumvir Spoon, i loath to interrupt you but may i remind you of the situation on Hephaistos, the Demeter Moons and not to forget the freedoms the Mercenaries are taking? We should decide upon these urgent matters first...

"Oh, right. I need more information on these large scale programs that are in progress, though I'd suggest stopping them. Of course we cannot allow imperial cult fanatics to burn our people willy nilly, they need evidence first, demand evidence and if they cannot produce any have them arrested for homocide maybe? And the murder of 200 workers is a disproportianate retaliation for a possible assault, give the mercenaries a formal reprimand for overstepping their bounds and heavy fines possibly? Really, I'd think this is more the chief of society's jurisdiction though. These are all just suggestions and the other Triumvir are welcome to make their own."

"Well, as a social matter, I believe the answer is straightforward enough.  These fanatics do not represent the views of the church as a whole and they are acting without evidence.  The solution here is to move these activities into the light of day.  We shall change to institutional courts.  Anyone accused of heresy may be detained but shall not be killed until given a fair hearing before a jury of six of their peers.  Anyone found to be taking the matter into their own hands and undermining our authority will be found guilty of treason and dealt with appropriately.  We will naturally be dedicated to addressing as many of these heresy accusations as possible."

Elise leaned back smiled.  Nothing would derail an issue more quickly then flooding the courts with a bunch of irrelevant cases.  And Elise would make sure that the case load would be a flood.  By casting a broad net, they would turn the whole issue into a legal quagmire and neutralize the accusers.

"Interesting solution, but what of the mutant programmes and the rogue mercenaries? Also, they've already killed the so called heretics, I suggest arresting them on the grounds of homocide."
