Starting Systems
Here are the 5 Starting Systems of the Houses.
Note: What you see is not necessarily what you get: what you see is what you can see from your current tech-level, likewise information about your planet or surrounding planets is dependant on your tech level...however what you can see on the map may give you a bit of information what is awaiting you there...
another Note: Don't blame me for the Systems blame the Rogue Trader planet generator and the internet for not giving me suitable planet pictures... :P
yet another Note: you can name everything in the System you chose, except for certain Special Locations

Interested

House Name: House Azores
Starting System: System 5
History of the House: The Azores are a technological clan, focusing more on the physical world then the spiritual one. They are fairly capable of politics but are too altruistic for a free-market economy to work effectively. the fall affected them greatly, the loss of so much technology eliminated their power. They care not about the patriarch or the church. They are a tolerant house, being Xenophiles, And a signifigant portion of their administration is performed by free xenos.
Religious direction: Agnostic.

House Name: Argonians
Starting System: House 1
Planet Name: Garthon Six
History of the House: The Argonians highly disargree with the church, because it stole the land from their people we watched them starve before,so we fought them were ever we could. That is why they love inventing long range planet based ship defeneses, and advanced farming techniques. They wish to become the best defended family without need for a giant space fleet. They also aim to keep their people safe, and happy.
Religious direction: Heathen
Religion: Technologists

The Technologists believe in the one, and true god. He gave them the technology to fight against their foes, and protect their land. They wish to advance their technology as fast as possible, and overthrow the corrupt church. They pray to God, and ask him to help them in times of trouble, because in the end he will save them from a religion that has wronged many of his children. He gave birth to us all, and so shall we end with him taking our lives, and us going to his pallace to live with hm for the rest of eternity.

House Name: Xenosa Bardensa The House Of The Golden Cr'tok

Starting System: House 2

History of the House:Before the fall this house ruled the Soma system from the planet of Sik’ar. They were mainly concerned with the advancement of biological technology and ‘testing’ their gene splicing and mutagens. This earned the quite a interest from the Patriarch and they were under investigation, perhaps soon to be part of a inquisition. But then the fall happened, and in the insuring chaos the most loyal Patriarch supporters ‘went missing.’ After the chaos died down and a struggling Feudal system started to come about The House Of The Golden Cr'tok quickly rose to power on the backs of what was left of the genetically enhanced solders. Although by now the solders are all but wiped out and all that is left is the Golden Crct’s personal body guard.

It is said that the Leader of the house, the Golden Crct, was alive before the fall and lives on, eternally young though a vast array of mutations and crossings with Xeno life forms.

The Golden Cr’tok is a massive war animal that is said to be able to destroy over a thousand men in combat, it is said to look like a massive insect with special compartments on its back and inside it to carry troops. No one has seen one for over fifty years though and it is whispered that they were all killed in the wars that brought Xenosa Bardensa to power.

For the most part, the old religion is unchanged, with the huge exception that it is lead by the patriarch or matriarch of  the golden house and the Patron of the house, Golden Crct, is worshiped as a god-saint.

Religious direction:Heretic

House Name: House Rastyqua
Starting System: System 4
History of the House: This is our last stand. Our last chance. We were the iron fist of the Church, striking with no remorse. No more. After they left us here to die, we know we were betrayed. We were lured into trap as a bait for heretic forces, only to see them leave our allies armies leave our homeworlds to our enemies as a bribe! We're alive only thanks to the mysterious events that occurred afterwards. But we're alone now, left on this god-forgotten planet. If we are to survive this we must concentrate on our goal: Vengeance! This what was planned as temporary stronghold far from our homes is now all we got. But our supplies grow weak each passing year, it's time to act. This time we will not get fooled by their lies, war is the only choice. Warlords Council have decided: Our march to victory has begun!
Religious direction: Heretic

((Hope it's enough. And i wonder if i get to survive few turns on this funny tourist-friendly planet :P))

House Name: House Al-Hazar

Starting System: House 3 (Hazaad System)

History of the House: House Al-Hazar is relatively new, being formed around the fall itself. The founder was the bastard offspring of a union between 2 feuding houses, an outcast who rose to power from the royal military arm of the church. Hazaad was his name, and he claimed the planet of Mirrodan from a relatively unexplored system for himself, wrestling it from its absentee land lords-another House, which was to weak and indecisive to hold its claim. The world was a barbaric, poisonous desert, replete with hyper predators and natives called "Chut'koi", a warlike insectoid race. The surface was death, so his people settled in the canyons, building maze like underground cities into the planet itself. War has raged on the planet even to this day, with no end in sight, though a new leader has risen, promising many things...

Meeting someone from House Al-Hazar is always intimidating. They are a swarthy people, dressing in dark reds and earth tones, and seldom travel unarmed or not under guard, even in their own homes. They are quick to laugh and jest and quick to anger and well reasoned argument-drinking much, but eating seldom (heavily spiced), with a long memory of favors unpaid, or insults unredressed.

You would be wise not to insult the imperial religion, at least in ear shot. The fanaticism that drove the founder is very alive and well, though somewhat lessened by now. Still, for all the bluff and bluster, the people of Al-Hazar are generally trust worthy and polite, if you earn it. They are no lovers of war, but neither do they despise it-survival of the fittest is something they have learned living on Mirrodan.

Religious direction: Moderate
