The scouts waiting outside gauge the number of inhabitants inside the car, perhaps only a few warriors separating them from a new home, or perhaps an entire civilization to trade with.

The Floatune are open to trade, but not an alliance, not when we know so little of these beings. One does not open his back door to strangers.

The Floatune are open to trade, but not an alliance, not when we know so little of these beings. One does not open his back door to strangers.
The guards still suspicious untie him but keep a close eye on him and the overseer asks him if knows anything about the incident and pursues the Idea of an alliance/trade/something beneficial
"Whatever your incident is, the Floatune are not at fault. But we're open to trade if you want."
Peretic/Floatune Trade Agreement.
The scouts see a alarming lack of guards, have they discovered a way of hiding without notice?

The Platoon shall continue to go and aid the Caerri, and preparations for the founding of a new colony shall continue.
Another cave was sighted to the east, so the colonists are sent out as the Platoon arrives at the Caerri capital, wielding a flag with "WE COME HELP YOU" symbolized on it.

Diplomacy, the Kriblits keep digging the great tunnel well a small squad goes to greet the new ones outside. If they prove friendly we will great them well, if they prove hostile we will kill them, if they prove hostile and deadly we will retreat into the hidden tunnels and collapse any that they find.
All colonies will construct where they are, putting up food catches and defenses immediately.
Home base will concentrate on bringing our population back up.

The Colony on the Coral shall be "That-which-feels"
The Colony on the western bones shall be "Those-who-see-what-was"
The Colony on the rock shall be "Those-who-fight"
The Caerri in the home base take the day off, and quickly get back up to 40, but probably will do it more slowly tomorrow.
Food caches are created with all haste, as without them the defenses will not work swiftly once they completely form.

Meanwhile, a small squad approaches the Caerri Guardsmen of "That-which-feels", with weapons sheathed. NEGOTIATE OR STAB?

The Scout is released. the Overseer makes an announcement to the citizens and they begin gathering coral, some surplus metal bits, fabric, and the black fluid. They also begin work on training the domesticated fish as mounts and beasts of burden

The scouts retrieve their ambassador and head home. When they reach home, they check on the Perks. If they are aggressive, they get a light whack. If they aren't, one shall be taken out and examined. Is its chitin hard? Is it fast? Does it eat meat?

The Tethered shall construct a trade boat out of Kelp Bark and shell. It will basically be a hollowed out half cylinder, with a long kelp spear running through it. It will be loaded with Kelp Bark and prepped for trade.

The Perks are found attempting to bash down the pen entrance by throwing other Perks at it. Sadly its working, the gate has noticeable cracks in it. Harder materials are needed, and the intelligence guesstimate of the Perks was much increased in the new report.
the Trade Canoe is loaded up, but its asked how its supposed to move by the would-be sailors of it.

Dig the tunnel Dig Dig the tunnel.
The Great Tunnel is Completed! Huzzah!
Trading is begun posthaste, and the Armorsmith is requested in Second Lair. He refuses to move, saying "Get out, ye nuisances! I'm thinking!", then yells at Apprentice #2 to go with them as they leave, since he is the better of the two.

The Scout is released. the Overseer makes an announcement to the citizens and they begin gathering coral, some surplus metal bits, fabric, and the black fluid. They also begin work on training the domesticated fish as mounts and beasts of burden
The Head Ninja demands a temporary ban on black fluid export until the trustworthiness of the Floatune can be determined. Other than that all goes as planned, with the fish moving rather sluggishly. Perhaps the black fliud does have a side-effect after all, or they're hungry.

Head ninja?

The Peretics begin construction of a algae farm and gather as much and as many types of algae as they can. they attempt to find out what type ths fish like the most. The black liquid is placed in a special storehouse and all the bags are patched and placed within bigger bags to help contain the fluid. Contact between the fish and the fluid is forbidden

Needed a Official-sounding Name for the leader of the stealthy guards. Do you have a better one?

Muhah hah hah!

A great celebration is made! Huzza!

Second lair will concentrate on hunting, gathering food and shells, soon each Kriblit warrior will have a shell of finely made armor to protect us from threats! If possible, a squad of armored warriors will try to capture a shelled beast, perhaps they can be domesticated?

First lair will work on making the great tunnel secure, concentrating on a point about 2/3 of the way to second lair the tunnel will be filled with traps and fortifications, this way, even if second lair is taken, no one will make it though to first lair.

Well, this is water after all. The Floatune simply have to grab the "rod" and lift it up. I guessed the size around 10 Floatune needed to lift.

At least 5 guards armed with spears shall stand on top of the Perk Pen. Whenever aggressive behavior is detected, the guards poke the Perks with their spears through the girding.  If one poses significantly aggressive it shall be killed.

Materials are needed. The surroundings are to be surveyed, in particular the need for a harder substance than shell. Or perhaps a source of heat.

Increase the food drawing capabilities of the settlements, increase defenses accordingly.

The Dark Ages have come, as has the Dark Season!
Visibilty is almost nil down here without the sunlight, light sources needed ASAP!

NEGOTIATE

Increase the food drawing capabilities of the settlements, increase defenses accordingly.
The guards sign them forward.
Kriblets are now able to talk to the Caerri.

The second colony is set up, and the aid Platoon begin taking orders from the Caerri until further notice.
The Eastern Cave has been colonized, and a messenger was sent with the news. As long as nothing major happens to the sand below him, he should be able to navigate back safely.

Well, this is water after all. The Floatune simply have to grab the "rod" and lift it up. I guessed the size around 10 Floatune needed to lift.

Materials are needed. The surroundings are to be surveyed, in particular the need for a harder substance than shell. Or perhaps a source of heat.
From the Perk Pen many noises are heard, ranging from pained to the sound of insect impacting gate and surviving. The guards are rather hesitant to kill all the aggressive ones, though; if they do so eventually the Perks will shrink in size noticeably as they run out of larger genes. One is still killed to make a point to them, though.

The Trade Canoe floats off towards the car, perhaps they can bring back some coral or that 'metal'.
A good-sized water vent is spewing heat to the west of the Kelp Tree, but how to get near it without dieing?

Muhah hah hah!

A great celebration is made! Huzza!

First lair will work on making the great tunnel secure, concentrating on a point about 2/3 of the way to second lair the tunnel will be filled with traps and fortifications, this way, even if second lair is taken, no one will make it though to first lair.
Second Lair gathers what it can, while a messenger is sent to ask Armorsmith's apprentice if he knows how to make lights.
First Lair puts the defense-building on hold while nailing the same question to the smith's door then LOUDLY knocking.

The shelled bests are rather hard to find in this superdark, and while they all have the Chieftain's word that shell armor lets you survive at least one Electrorope blast, none of the warriors feels like risking it. If they could control those things, though, they'd have an immensely powerful weapon, and some light as well! But they're so big...

Head ninja?

An algae farm is started, as the fluid is stored away.

The Peretics get on with life and uh decide to repopulate to make up for the deaths from the incident. At the former location of Hedbosh a memorial is put up. There is a 24-7 watch on the survivors incase they wake up. Some peretics find a way into a previously sealed off portion of the car and begin to mess with the curious metal strands they find in there.

...I'm hoping they get the car lights activated
